say you want to sober up fast what should I do?
in my experiance alcohol takes the edge off but you're still definately high, I've heard benzos work well too but if I'm tripping with a girl I don't think it would be a good idea for her to take benzos.

i guess you could pop some thorazine..
but seriously, why?
and i wouldn't say alcohol 'takes the edge off' it usually adds a different aspect to the trip in my experience..

The only thing besides benzos that will stop a trip is antipsychotics or antidepressants.

I bought some very cheap "Trip-B-Gone" pills at a shroom store in Amsterdam, just to be sure. Not sure what's in them though, I'll check the label once I get back to my dorm.

You can't end a trip. Once you swallow it you're in for a ride. Benzo's will only end the bad aspect of the trip (possibly). If you are planning on needing to abort a trip, you shouldn't be tripping at all.

I think if you drink milk early on you can make it a lot weaker, but this is just hearsay.

That is not hearsay, this is true. Milk will kill 80-90% of your trip within minutes. I've used it twice- and was able to sober up within 15 minutes on both occasions and able to drive.
If you are to trip at a location where you can't bring milk(can't keep it cold or whatever) I highly recommend taking some type of dairy product such as a couple cereal bars or anything that has dairy.
You might still experience a slight time lapse, but it greatly improves your chances of driving/doing whatever you have to do. Good luck!

Any benzodiazepine will make an anxious trip into a manageable trip. As the others have said, it will not return you to a baseline--only your body's metabolic processes will.

To the best of my understanding you absorb the psilocybin from shrooms very quickly much like alcohol and once absorbed you metabolize it even faster so fast that you still feel the effects long after the chem can be detected in the bloodstream. So much like being drunk there is not much that can be done to sober you up other than time. Probably the best that could be done is to mitigate some of the effects milk may help with some of the physical discomforts and reliving them may help the psychological discomforts,benzos might help with anxiety.
Many years ago I lost it with datura the scary ass seeds talking to people who weren't there smoking invisible cigarettes my friends took me to the ER where they shot me with Thorazine and only thing the shot did was make things 100 times worse felt like my tongue was to big for my mouth like I was choking on it and having a charcoal wash and stomach pump waking up 48 hours later strapped down with IV hoses and monitors stuck to me was a really bad trip. Thorazine don't stop you from tripping it just stops you from making any noise thus disturbing the staff and other patients while freaking out.

this is why i tell all first time trippers to never go to the hospital. let the drug wear off naturally. hospital will only make things worse.
