why do people think quiche is gay?

this makes no sense to me
a few days ago i was at the post office with my uncle and he asked what i was having for supper. i replied that i am having quiche
then he starts laughing saying he would never eat that
then another guy in the lineup (who i don't even know) starts laughing saying he would never eat it either
its almost like they know something i don't
is quiche popular in the gay community?

im not sure. sounds to me like your uncle and that man are a bunch of idiots. quiche fucking rocks.
whats not to like? its basically an omelette in a pie crust. there are hundreds of ways to make it.
assuming that quiche is gay, is about like saying stir fry is for lesbians.
its good, and depending on how its made, its also healthy.

I just looked up quiche on wikipedia, and a related search brought up a book written back in 1982.

I used to make quiche all the time for caterings.

I've never heard anyone call quiche gay.

Thats funny.
My Grandpa had that book on one of his library shelves, and I remember reading it when I was a little kid in like, 1992.
Even then, I would read anything.

stratta is similar to quiche i think.
customers would come into my work and ask if it was like quiche and i would respond yes. More women ended up purchasing this than men.
I think it's just in the word.

Has anyone seen "Ham on the street" Its on food network once and a while. one of the episodes ham gets people to go into a grocery store and randomly grab 2 cans of food of their choice and bring it back to him and he makes quiche out of it for them, then they try it. I thought it was hilarious.
