 Meth - please explain to me.

I have been reading a number or exercise articles and they all seem subscribe to the same refrain; eat or everything kills you off.
Okay, well I have known a number of addicts (myself included) that have just lost a great deal of weight because of their drug use....and not eating.
So, is it just no hunger / not eating that is making the weight that is eating the fat off of them. Or does the drug itself have ANYTHING to do with helping the metabolism and eating?
I just wanted to know, because every doc, of any flavor all say the same thing. To be honest I am getting sick about it, I am starting to think that, that rule is in place just because there are shortcuts through the fray and they the dedicated straight and narrow path is the only way at all and don't want you to know......

Pretty sure the speeding up of the system has something to do with metabolism on top of the not eating, but only pretty sure.

Staying up for long periods of time will cause the body to work harder.
Not eating causes malnutrition, causing weight loss.

It's called the Shroomery, not the Drugery. and there are 6+ forums specifically dedicated to the cultivation of mushrooms for a reason.
Either way, most people here are into the psychedelics, but you wont find many meth sympathizers as Brugman stated.

There's also 3 forums for drugs other than mushrooms, therefore undedicating the site to solely mushrooms.

i agree, call me judgmental also but i really don't sympathize with methamphetamine users/addicts. that drug has had a huge negative affect my own life and a few of my buddies, and none of us use.
you lose weight because you do an upper that tweaks you for a whole damn day. it honestly isn't science.
my advice to OP: dislike meth and start loving beer and pot a lot more. you'll gain weight.

The only thing I don't like about the stuff is when friends decide to do it and stop over at your house at 3 in the morning wanting to show you this really neat little thing they learned on guitar and how it's really going to take them places. I don't have any meth head friends anymore. I've tried it about 4 times over the last 6 years and totally did not think it was worth it, I always felt like I was on borrowed energy when I did it.

I don't know. I'm sure a laboratory could do it. Hell, they make adderall.
But I somehow doubt your average meth producer is going to be taking steps neccessary to ensure a clean product.

Look guys, I hear you I really do and I agree. It's my buddy that is doing all of this crap and I wanted to have some research handy to point out is all.
I do not possess a great deal of knowledge of and for illicit drugs myself. Besides shrooms and alcohol.....my only answers.
