My question is, what is your preferred method of smoking marijuana?
Also, what area are you from? You don't have to get specific, just generally.
I would like to find out what the favorite method of smoking is, and if people from certain areas tend to prefer one way over another. I think the results should be interesting....

from southeast united states... bowls and bongs are the way to go, also the best way to smoke in my opinion if you dont have a vaporizer

I wasn't using the word to specifically mean the leaf of a marijuana plant, i just used it as an alternative to bud or weed, green, grass, ganja, herb, nug, dank, buddah, pot.

well for me being that I live south eastern united states
A phat glass pipe/bowl is teh preferred method because when you get dope this good rolling a joint and to watch the smoke go up in the air instead of my lungs well thats jus not cool
Don't get me wrong If I come across a decent bag of shwagg I'll roll joints maybe a blunt or two all day but its all about the weed and how to conserve

i think blunts are the best if your indoors, in a car, or in another safe spot.i love blunt smoke because its so thick and creamy its perfect or hotboxing. If im out doors though i prefer a small bowl because thats discreet.

Pulling tubes is where its at! Although I more commonly smoke bowls, there's nothing better than taking a nice, long, welcome home from work pull. Chi-town is where I'm at, btw. I used to be all up on the blunts, but it started to take its toll on my income, so I had to cut it down a bit.

Coming from the ATL blunts are the way to go, indoors and outdoors once your done your done nothing left on ya, no bowl to walk around with afterwards.

north east, blunts are the way to go. the smoke is just so much thicker, higher quality than with joints. i like bongs, but ever since i started my 4 blunt a day habit about 5 years ago, smoking plane weed just isnt nearly as good... i always smoke the roaches in the bong though, thats the best part, the last inch of the blunt all resined up...tastes quite good from a bong

I live on the west coast, well, northern California more specifically.
All my friends that blaze own a glass piece, seems pretty standard. We do blunts quite often, especially if it is a group we will all drop on it. Along with blunts joints are great for snowboarding..
And we have our Bongs. Anybody ever had the chance to smoke out of the PHX trinity?...Perforated downstem, with two additional chambers to filter through. Such a smooth hit. You can milk that thing until it is solid fucking white. Burns through herb like nothing, but i guess if you buy one you have the money to buy lots of herb to go with it...

i'm from new york, i think joints and blunts are definitely the best way to go. although a nice waterpipe or bong is always nice

I voted joint, but I smoke with my pipe everytime.
I roll a joint once in a while when I'm haning with friends, but I find it useless when I'm smoking on my own. It's a waste of weed.

That PHX trinity looks NICE.
I'm from New Orleans. Me and my friends usually smoke bowls during the week and bowls/joints on the weekend. I bought a small water pipe a while back, but we never use it. Blunts can be extremely nice once in a while too.
When we trip we try to roll a couple of joints before hand. The pipe is harm to use whilst tripping balls.

I prefer joints. If I had tried a vaporizer I would have said that, but I've never tried one before.
Joints have a number of superior qualities.
No re-lighting. The cherry burns less hot then flaming a pipe, and joints have a better thc trasfer rate. Joints taste better than used pipes. With joints, you're constantly getting green. Joints are healthiest for smoking. They cost less than pipes and bongs and blunts. If you lose it, papers are easily replaced. Joints can be crafted in several creative ways (see here: http://www.weedfarmer.com/joint_rolling/index.htm ) Joints are easily disposed of by oral ingestion in emergency, reducing chance of getting caught. Joints are very group friendly, more then bowls. Joints do not have nasty tobacco like blunts. Joints can be smoked in open daylight as a cigarette look a like. Joints can be quickly put out and reused at a later time. No cleaning as with pipes. No worrying about carring that bulky pipe with you, or getting it stolen. Joints make a great gift to a friend. Saves money on lighters. Joints can be filtered with a roach.

I prefer the filtration of a nice bong or bubbler, but usually I smoke out of pipes.

blunts are too much of a waste of weed and too harsh. joints are the most fun, bongs the most economical and healthy, but i prefer a little glass pipe for most situations. if i'm skiing or don't wanna worry about carrying a smelly piece, i roll a joint. a nice bubbler is actually my favorite, combines the best of everything and fits in your pocket. now if it could just be an indestructible super glass, that would be nice. also its hard to get a clear glass bubbler. my favorite piece i ever got was a 30 dollar clear hammer bubble i got at the bc marijuana bookstore in vancouver, awesome fucking deal but i got super fucking paranoid one day and threw it in a bush in arcata california and now i've got this aweseome fucking piece i just bought in santa cruz california which only cost 12.50 which would have cost me about 40 dollars in my hometown of right here

I love layin down and smokin a blunt, thats my idea of chillin. I still have much love for joints, bongs, and bowls though. Used to live in central jersey til a month ago, now i'm in western Pennsylvania.

Bowls are the best hands down. They get you higher than joints/blunts while using less weed. It also doesn't waste any weed. If roll joints I seem to go through a half oz. in like 2 days. With just bowls I can double that.
I prefer pipes over bongs and such because I spend a lot of time outdoors and it you can't really just carry a bong in your pocket without worrying about spilling water or breaking it.

Bong rips are really excellent. The thing is i can't take bong rips all day long otherwise i would be a zombie ha.
Joints are nice because if you roll em right and share with a person or two they get you high but not to the point where you can't function.
But if im just looking to get really high really quick, then i'll rip a bong for sure. Thats why i love my bong, if someone comes to visit or stop in for a minute they can milk one hit and be nice and high from that single hit.

With so many damn ways to smoke, why pick just one favorite? Haha, I love joints, blunts, bongs, bubblers, bowls, vaporizers, and brownies/fire crackers. I tend to switch the method of ingestion often to keep it exciting. But, if I absolutely had to choose a favorite way to get high it would be my bubbler Mr. Finkleton or my bong Dr. Albert.

The other night when i visited Brooklyn I smoked with a bunch of people i didn't know up until that night and they were all about the blunts. To them, joints were unheard of and the main thing anyone in their neighborhood smoked was blunts. The occasional bowl thrown in for good measure.
So my friend and i decided to roll up a beautiful cone to show them the allure of a nice joint. They enjoyed it thoroughly.

I wish I could do that... it sucks, lately I've been to busy to stay stoned 24 hours a day. Between school and work I hardly have any time.

Don't give me that line of bullshit. I work 43 hours a week on a swing shift and I have 12 credits of calculus and electrical engineering courses. The engineering courses both of a lab.
With all of that shit I still have enough time to smoke a 1/2 OZ. in 2 days.

Normally... a good spliff. thats best when your with a group of friends because its more sociable, and easy to pass round. now and then though I'll construct a niiiice waterfall bong  those will get me very nicely baked for a good 3 hours
