i've been meaning to check out godflesh and wolves in the throne room. actually wolves in the throne room just played a show with jesu around here last week. it was awesome. that isis side project sounds funky fresh as well.
zozobro...is that a group? or that old man gloom thing? ...or is it a group named after the old man gloom thing? ah whatever, maybe i should just check that out myself.
if my desktop didnt just crash last night, i'd offer up my files on share through my aim account. but i guess that would have to wait..

Old man gloom started when aaron turner of isis and some friends(fromother popular bands) in sante fe got bored and 2wanted to fuck around with all the instruments they had acquired over the years.
since old man gloom wasnt a constant thing and doesnt take up alot of time, two of old mans glooms members decide to start their own project. the drummer and bassist.

bickethead is more a progressive rock sound.. he is some what avant-garde, he really touches all genres and styles with his music.
....Windmills by the Ocean uploading now...and im listening to it..man, i love this album.. its good to not listen to an album for a few months, then give it another spin.

I am just amazed at bucketheads skillz. playin everything from blue-grassy stuff to heavy shredding and be good at it. Not to mention that he puts out so many albums (10 so far this year)

here yah go fellas, Beware of safety will be up in 30mins...beware of safety's debut album is simple amazing, i hope they continue to fucking rock.. it would be a great trip album..most avant-garde albums are good trip albums, some more than others tho.

alllll right kiddies, i got one more upload for today, unless you all can think of any other bands named above that you would like an album from.
my last one is a band called Giant Squid. Its like Neurosis meets the Cranberries. there is a chick who sings/screams and plays electric cello, also a badass guitar player/singer...giant squid is a great band with a mash up of many genres and sounds..and over all a good listen.
Giant Squid - Metridium Field. will be up in 45mins.
