Another trippy band nobody's heard of is TV on the Radio Their album Return to Cookie Mountain is their most musically evolved, and in my opinion their best.

i'd imagine Suspended Animation would be quite the experience.
and Animal Collective's new album, i think, would be a great record to trip to. in the latest Rolling Stone, they said they got some of their ideas by smoking Salvia in the Arizona desert.

That album( fantomas) is pretty intense. The kelly deal was the trippest for me. The reason, fellow shroomers, I recommended hit to death in the future head, is track 11. 30 minutes long. Even sober I felt some pretty strange feelings attached to that song. Really, any and all flaming lips is good to trip to. If you pay attention closly to future head, you will hear a bunch of weird effects: echos, vibrating. Which is essential for tripping. I did trip to jefferson airplane crown of creation about a week ago. Somehow it didn't set the mood. I felt like I couldn't relate to it, being from so long ago. It kind of ruined the trip, that and a combination of a few other things.

I had my first trip with some friends at my shack just last week. We listened to the first two albums by Shpongle and it just seemed perfect.
