WBS spawned to straw/coir...case or wait?

I followed this straw tek here. Is this ready to case, or should I give it a few more days? I spawned the WBS on Friday. It's looking a little dry, but I just might be paranoid. I plan to case in 60/40 verm and coir...unless anyone has better suggestions as to what I should case in.

Thanks for any feedback!

You could fruit that without casing. But if you're gonna case, it's ready.

If you can fruit it without casing then what is the point of casing at all?

Search engine can give you a hundred answers to that, it's a complicated issue. But you can fruit Ps. cubensis without casing.
