 strange droplets on cakes

i have some 1/4 pint colonized cakes which were dunked for less than 18 hours, and rolled in verm.
after about 2 days in the FC i noticed these tiny droplets of water which seem to be pooling on top of what appears to be rhizmorphs.
it almost looks like a small pin with a clear cap. the cakes seem to be healthy, and very close to pinning (1-3 days tops)
is this anything to worry about? could it be a contam? it almost apears that the mycelium strands are colonizing themselves over these drops of water. it looks really wierd and i've never seen anything like it before.

Damn, that's weird, man. It doesn't really sound like contamination, but I have no idea. If you can, try and get a picture!
