i got some spahgnum peat moss a and i dont know if its any diffrent in ph levels then reg moss, do i still need to add the calcium carbohydrate? or should i get something else the place i got to has stuff this stuff called PH(arrow pointing up) and the opisite. what should i do still get it?

i never used a pH buffer, just mixed 50/50 verm-peatmoss with water then sterilized
i dont think it is totally necessary
