nicely done man . looks delicious I like that slicer, I need one. Usually I slice shit by hand which is a pain having too freeze the meat and shit , and you need a nice sharp ass meat cleever.

Sharp knives should be a priority for any kitchen - they are the most important tool of the trade. Those electric slicers are great for big jobs if you buy your deli cured meats in blocks (I have a Warring Pro myself), but they're a bit of a pain to clean and take up a lot of space when not in use. I find that I'm using mine much less than I had originally anticipated when making the purchase.

I love my Chicago Cutlery set. It roxxors for almost everything, BUT... Slicing raw (fresh or frozen) beef, you can't beat an electric slicer.
I bought it to slice center round roasts for jerky, but it also comes in handy for shaving frozen top round for steak sammys.
At $30 w/shipping on ebay, it's a very worthwhile investment.
Love my new Rival deep fryer too... I made the same sammy tonight but did shoestrings instead of chips... Totally AWESOME.
