I gotta chime in on this....OTD is the Awesome, I hang out there more so then PUB OTD actualy gives some insights into drugs and psyochnauts with Balls who want to Push Boundaries, To Rag OTD is messed up and wrong if your supporter of this site, We all have are different places in life but to Flame OTD, most will never experience what half of us in OTD will exp in learned due to our Psychonaut experiences....So get on board or jump ship I say.We divided we fall.... Just learn and help others and Trip Balls

The difference between the Shroomery and Mycotopia, is that @ Mycotopia, that post would have you banned or hounded to no end by butthurt hippies.
I have no problem with hippies, but butthurt ones are the worst. Not even sure if they're hippies over there or...hillbillies.
Butthurt hillbillies are nothing to tangle with... May be some weird hybrid of butthurt hipbillies.

Shroomery has always been at war with Mycotopia.

How many mushroom growing sites are there? Jeeh-zuz. I'm just looking around and they seem to be sprouting...well like mushrooms after a hard rain. Let's see...I'm finding...
MushroomGeeks, Shroomology, Shroomtalk, Fungifun, Myco-tek, Entheogen Network (sounds promising), HipForums? (and how many are honeypot narc sites?)
Mycotopia and The Shroomery, and more I'm sure.
Guess I could look up their 'history' using web stat sites, but what will that mean? Only that they are new or old, and the old, more trafficked ones may have more appeal to the hater-cops trying to sow discord / bust people for growing.
I wonder which are 'the best' and which are 'the most uptight and heavy-handed?' The Shroomery definitely is the best known, no doubt about that. And every forum I've visited seems to have it's share of 'heavy-handed' bully mods. I like that the Shroomery is pretty no-holes-barred. Too many uber-sensitive, ban hammer slinging types, in general, at other forums. But, I guess that's a given considering the nature of this websites vs, say, City-Data or something. Not many rude, boorish, tissue thin skined types here...Other than me, and my sensitive anus, which I keep pampered and delicate, like an exotic orchid.

I like that phrase you use: "no-holes-barred". Sums up the shroomery perfectly.

Just found out it's no-holds-barred, but I like my spelling better as well.
So, has anyone been to any of these other sites, and what's up with them?
Would be nice to have a plethora of sites to tra-la-la about if I ever get banned here, which I hope never happens but what the hell, I'm bound to rub someone the wrong way sooner or later, try as I might to rub everyone in a way that is pleasing to them. No holes barred. Or, just to verify info I find here...

Andy once took a HUGE shit one day, and he named her "Mycotopia".
-------------------- Something there is mysteriously formed, Existing before Heaven and Earth, Silent, still, standing alone, unchanging, All-pervading, unfailing, I do not know its name; I call it tao. If forced to give it a name, I call it Great (ta). Being great, it flows out; Flowing out means far-reaching; Being far-reaching, it is said to return. It's just a shot away..

Mycotopia has been awesome to me. It's much more mature I guess than this kiddie pool; but we have some awesome folk here too.
Entheogen-network: Wow. These guys are legit. They have extensive knowledge on a much broader swath of plant and chemical oddities. This is where lots of the proprietors of entheogen shops kick ideas around too.
I would guess average age at shroomery is 22-23; over at these maybe 28 or more?
I love you all evenly, just wish to see more folk over there for more stimulating discussions.
-------------------- Favorite entheogen experiences in descending order: 1)Combo of oral DMT + smoked Bufotenine 2)Amanita (urine drank twice) 3)Mushrooms > Achuma 16"+cid(still need higher dose Achuma)> Cid (still need high dose) 4)Morning Glory-HBWR (+cumin, cinnamon aldehyde adducts) > Methyl chavicol (need more activators) 5)Salvia (need to try quid) All readable matter in the above post is ficticious... any similarities to real life are purely coincidental. Blessing.

Seems dead to me, or dying. With a few very vocal grouchy assed old timers. And by that I simply mean people who've been there so long they think it's their site. I started an account but won't be going back...wish them the best though, in their transition. There were a few nice people as well, but overall just no traffic and over-sensitive about that fact.
E-dot, as I've just learned, I've been a member for many years. That place is pretty cool. Or was. They renamed themselves and rebooted the old website, hope to get my old name back, too.
Most of the rest seem new to me. And I look forward to trying them all.
P.S. Apparently MushroomGeeks is a thing of the past.
