Egyptian trips

I was on mushrooms on a rooftop the other day and I was seeing all sorts of complex patterns arranging and morphing into each other and at the same time I could see Egyptian pharoahs making complex hand movements at me. This has happened before. It's not the first Egyptian trip I've had.
I know some other people that see Egyptians too. Why do Egyptians keep popping up in my visions? Can anyone relate?

Whats it all about? I noticed I only ever see Egyptians when I'm having a good trip so I can appreciate what I'm seeing.

The same effect happens to me, except with me it's always clear and recognizable mesoamerican (Aztec or Maya) symbols and patterns, often overlaid on ceilings, floors, walls, clothing, etc. I definitely think there's a significance to this that I haven't discovered yet, just like jonnyjonjon with the Egyptian motifs and visuals.
Anyone have insight into this as part of a "past life" manifestation or something similar?

Yeah I see the exact same thing. I see all these complex dynamic native American patterns and symbols. The kind of things youd see in Ancient Aztec, Mayan, and Egyptian artwork.
Things like this but way more complex and detailed.
http://www.natashascafe.com/images/photos/papirus.jpg I see animals and things that look exactly like the ones on that Egyptian papyrus.

Not sure what it's all about but if you keep tripping on roof tops you may not find out in this life. That's 2 out of 3 of your threads that I read and you were tripping on the roof.

I've definitely related the patterns I've seen in one intense trip to aztecs. Maybe some kind of connected consciousness?

I guess the million dollar question then is:
Does Aztec art/architecture look shroomy, or do shroom visuals look Aztecy?
Sort of like what came first, the chicken or the egg.
Did the Aztecs make their art in such a way because they consumed mushrooms or do we now perceive things as Aztec because of subconscious knowledge of their use of entheogens?
Sorry if this post seems retarded, it's 8am and I'm hungover.

I frequently see Aztec type patterns when I trip on both mushrooms and LSD. Is interesting why that is so.

93 This is a great thread. I have definitely experienced a few Egyptian themed trips. Hieroglyphics( I perceive this with dxm too), gliding above pyramids whilst astral traveling under psilocybin, etc.
Once, I was meditating under a medium mushroom dose in the dragon asana position. I lost all perception of my body and became a point of consciousness in a black void. Soon, the God Tahuti appeared before me and became the focal point of consciousness. He appeared in full ibis form seated among a rotating sea of eyes. Mercurial smells were perceived and I, or the point of consciousness, became extremely confused from a mass of messages relayed unto me that I could'nt make out and eventually returned to my physical body. Perhaps the stuff I could'nt make out was implanted into my subconscious after the trip, I'm not sure, but this was definitely a high point amongst my journeys as a psychonaut. Rather comically, on my next trip, I attempted an outdoor formal invocation of him, but was tripping so hard by the time I did it, that I forgot the rest of the invocation midway through and was unable to improvise or even function properly. Of course, it then began to rain on me. I spontaneously(simply willed, no formal invocation, no circle) inkoved Horus the last time I tripped btw.
People have mentioned aztec/mayan themed trips. It is interesting to note that I too experienced this on my earliest trips. Perhaps trips 3-10 were filled with aztecesque imagery of varying degrees. Never experienced that afterwards though. 93 93/93
