Usually, dry weight averages 8-10% of wet.
I know I've read this in many places on the forum by many experienced people-- including grand-master RoadRunner, so I'm almost positive it's true... my own experience shows similar results as well...

Are you sure it's cracker-dry? (don't want your nice little mutant to rot man!)

10% of your stated 19g wet weight is 1.9g...

who is roadrunner? and obviously you've never grown tex, malabar, mexicube, or f+, all of which dry out more like 85/15...

some strains don't take on that much water. Penis Envy can be very dense at times, Tex by far is the best about it, texas goliad isn't very dense, i've had it with very very very very hollow stems to the point they fall over.

otherwise, the aforementioned strains, all have very meaty dense stipes. (providing superior substrates like mycopath poop also help with meaty stipes)

Texas seemed to like lower humidity anyhow, cool strain. don't like the speedy body load though, with minimal visuals.

Not saying that sometimes environmental conditions like running too low or too high a humidity will affect mushroom moisture content but I'm pretty sure Paul knows what he's talking about. lol

usualy they are 92% water in all 20 or so strains i have had.but that number varies greatly due to conditions
