man, fuck that, get yourself some tapestries, and some canvas, cover the walls and paint the canvas, or just cover the thing is random posters.

I don't think you're making a big deal out of it. The douchebag painted it some lameass color that doesn't appeal to everybody. Usually landlords just paint neutral colors. Go the tapestry route.

Read over the contract to make sure there's no fine print. He changed the place after you signed the contract, you're not bound to it.

Good point. You are paying rent to live in a place that was shown to you. If it was blue then, it would have changed your decision. He should have told you he was planning on changing it. I would keep fighting him on it and threaten to move out.

i been painting for about 5 years. i would be so glad not to paint a house neutral tan on the inside. i get tired of looking at it. but i wouldn't paint it blue
