Digitech Question: GNX2 vs. GNX3

Hey Quick Question. This is just in case anyone can give me a quick opinion answer.
i want to get a GNX model off ebay cause im poor.
I want to know if theres really a point to getting a GNX3 over a GNX2 I know that the main upgrade is the 8-track, drum machine, learn a lick shit. I dont need that and i wont really utilize that since im going to be recording directly onto the computer.
So the question is, does the 3 have anything over the 2 that I will want. Any effect? Can you use more effects at a time on the 3 than the 2, cause thats something i definitely would pay more for.
thanks for your time guys.

what kind of effect do you use most (distortion, chorus etc)? because you might considering buying something in the same price range but with less possibilities.
I had a digitech RP3 (kinda old multi fx pedal) and I wasn't completely happy with it (wasn't bad though) and I thought, I mainly use distortion, I should buy just a REALLY good distortion. and I'm glad I did:D (didn't use most of the fx in the multipedal anyway)
on another note I find harmony central to be usefull in reviews http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Effects/product/DigiTech/GNX2/10/1 http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Effects/product/DigiTech/GNX3/10/1
compare the two, theremsut be someone who tried both

oh, no, im definitely going to want an arsenal. im that kind of guitar player. omar rodriguez-lopez, matthew bellamy... if i could id be set up like them... haha.
im sure these models will be sufficient for me with the distortions. most of my distortions aren't really going to be 'heavy'or anything like that. and i found that the digitechs ive seen have good enough amp modeling and distortions to supplement my needs.
im going to make more experimental music than rock music. lots of layers and effects, so you can see what id go for. im also going to use post effects in programs... i just want a dynamic control at my fingertips. know what i mean?
thanks for the reply and the links, im looking through them now.
