 Cosmic Trigger vol. II: Down to Earth?

I was just wondering if anyone here has read Cosmic Trigger vol II and how it sized up to vol I. I have recently completed vol I and loved it.

Definitely not as good, but it's RAW, so it's good.

It's hard for me to compare the two. I have more fond memories of volume I , but that's not to say volume II is somehow lacking, it's just written differently because Bob was in a different headspace. it's been about 5 years since I read them. i've not read volume III yet.
