When i saw this post i just had to respond. It is because i am wondering if someone saw the movie "John dies at the end" while under influence?
I was blown away after seeing this movie..
If u are seeing this movie for the first time while on shrooms, i think u have to be an experienced user..

OK, first ever post on Shroomery!!
Michael Jackson's "Moonwalker" was the tits on shrooms! It makes no sense at all even when you're straight.
"Team America - World Police" is also a great movie as it's so well made and so completely random.
"Rango" was great on shrooms! The detail in the animation kept blowing me away. Then I'd forget and get blown away all over again! Gold.
"Home Alone 1 or 2" could be good as well. Might give it a crack tonight.
Anything with a feel-good storyline and zany, random action.
I never, EVER, watch tripped out movies while tripping. I mean, you can, but my brain's already getting fried. I don't need to expedite the process. Fear and loathing, Requiem etc are made to trip you out when you're straight. It's like a double-negative when you're already tripping. Pointless.

good first post 
i was trying to remember what movies i have seen while on mushrooms and i the only one i can remember was "they live". its a trippy trippy flick, so entertaining and mind blowing, and kinda scary because some of it is true in a way, i highly recommend it.
i have noticed that you can watch pretty much any movie while you are psyching out and enjoy it. it isn't about what movie you watch, but what movie you watch AT THE RIGHT MOMENT. you can choose any movie in this thread that people are highly recommending before you trip, but if the moment isn't right you may not have the same reaction.

King Kong - great visuals and rhythm, insane giant gorilla thrills, brilliant movie
Avatar - pandora is out of this world (and inside your mind)
The darjeeling LTD - great colours, fantastic soundtrack, characters taking indian flu medicine hee hee, funny as well.
Star Wars Episode 3 - intense action, mindblowing effects
Tron Legacy - just wow, also daft punk soundtrack
Life of Pi - you'll see god. and become a tiger. watch in 3d if you can
Oz the great and powerful - tra la la, off we go to the wonderful world of oz!
Hugo - visually stunning scorsese pic, trip friendly (ie no torture scenes ha)
Transformers 3 Dark of the moon - kinda crummy movie but epic action and effects you'll be tripping balls
Inception - you'll never look at nolan the same again
Pixar - Rattatouille, mosters university are my favs
Star Trek into Darkness - nuff said
The great gatsby (baz lurhmann version) - visually stunning, nice soundtrack, intense drama
Django unchained - my tarantino pick for the rythmic dialogue, you could close your eyes to it if you wanted
Man of steel - why not?
And of course fear and loathing
Havent watched them yet but have high hopes for Pans labyrinth and There will be blood

Yeah, To each their own. 
I get paranoid on shrooms if I go out to a public place with a lot of people. I enjoy going to the lake sometimes at night while on shrooms when there isn't a lot of people there. Sometimes I just turn on some nice music in my backyard, stare at the stars and then take a walk. Then when I get bored, I smoke and watch a movie for the last part of my trip.
