 Immunity to THC?

I've tried pot about three times, the first time with a friend. I got no effects, even though I smoked a lot of it. I just felt tired and decided to go to sleep. The next day, I tried it a second time, but I didn't do as much. Still no effects. I was a little disappointed, so I stayed away from it for a little while. A few days ago, I decided to give it another shot. Didn't smoke much, but my friend said it was pretty potent stuff. I waited... still no effects. At that point I was VERY annoyed; All I had was heavy eyelids, while my friend was totally fucked up, lying on the floor almost completely out of it. I've never done any real drugs before (Ambien and a few MG seeds don't really count), and I really want to explore/expand/enlighten my mind. I thought pot would be a good place to start, just to get used to that stoned feeling, but I'm frustrated now that I can't even get a minor buzz off it... Now I'm having nightmares that that I'm immune to everything, Psilocybin, LSD, DMT... What do you guys think? Am I immune to THC? Will I ever be able to experience the beauty of ANY psychedelics?

Hey man, i smoked probably 12 or so times before i finally got retarded. It was funny too, because I actually passed out for a few minutes, and I could hear everything going on around me, and I was conscious, but I couldn't move or open my eyes.
Just try it a few more times, I'm sure you'll get blazed soon enough.

I never experienced this phenomenon of not getting stoned the first few times you smoke weed
however, I have heard a lot of people say they experienced this...
the first time I smoked I smoked a full joint and was blazed for like 5 hours, it was actually 420 the first time I got high. I remember because 420 is my sister's birthday and we went to this trippy ass resturant called buca di beppo's

it actuallly took me months to actually understand the doors that marijuana can open, even though i smoked about everyday, i guess im just a slow learner

cannabis can be way more crazy than you think
if your messing up smoking you can try edibles, just follow the directions to a 'T'
you will soon find that you are not immune, but it may be too intense for you
but if you want to risk it, search for "firecrackers"

The first Time I ate shrooms I took 1.75 grams. I tripped my balls off.
Same goes for weed. The first high was amazing to me when I was 14 years old.
I dont know. I guess its different for everyone.
Maybe thats why some people HAVE EVER not felt 3.5 grams of shrooms.
I guess you just have to be attuned to reality before you can feel anything..............lol

I had to smoke four seperate times to get high, and when I did it was more of a shroom trip than a weed high, with a ton of depersonalization. Don't worry bro, you aren't immune, it just takes some people a couple of times to get high. In fact, I've heard a theory that the cannabinoid receptors in some brain's aren't "awake" yet and it takes some habituation of marijuana smoke to "wake them up" to be receptive to weed. Who knows?

ive got a mate who DOESNT get high, ive smoked with him lots of times, i make him smoke alot of good bud, he doesnt feel anything accept 'abit tired'. but he was out of it when he tried lsd with me

Maybe you aren't smoking it right. Take as big a hit as you can, then inhale a little bit of air. If you don't cough, then you're not inhaling enough.

I smoked a good dozen times before feeling much beyond the slightest buzz. The first time I got really high was from eating a rather large amount. After that it was no problem.

First few times i did it, nothing really happened.
Probably have to sensitize your body to it for the first 5-10 smoking sessions before it has strong effects that you notice.

It took me a few times as well to get high.
I also have a friend who just doesn't get high at all tho'. He has tried dozens of times.

First time i smoked pot, I as bugging out, time extended and all my senses were new. Fucking blast. With mushies was weird same batch same amount, fisrt time it was just liek a mellow sensation, next time i was thrown to outer space.
As someone said before it could be unproper smoking technique, just smoke it like a cigarratte and hold. I know of this cause some people i smoked up for first time would just hold it in their mouth or dont take the full hit.

Thanks guys, you made me feel better. I don't really think I want to smoke pot that much though, because, for one thing, I have some allergy related asthma, and I don't think smoking would be very good for it.
What I'm really wanting to do is explore my mind, expand my knowlege, and discover the real meaning of the universe. I don't think pot does that, does it? Maybe thats just the "anti-drug propaganda from the DARE classes I took when I was little" talking, I dunno. I'm really wanting to try shrooms, though...
