 How about state/country categories for the shroomery news forum?

Similar to the implementation of categories in other forums.
Perhaps a category for each US state, then one for canada, mexico, the UK and other countries could be added as needed?
Not that important, but might improve the forum a little?

That's an idea, but I don't know that members, or myself, would want to contend with 243 categories in Shroomery News.
What I do now is add a state or country abbreviation to the subject to clarify the headline.
For example, the headline may say 'Local man jailed', which is meaningless. So I will have the subject read 'Upper Darby man arrested for mushrooms [PA]', with [PA] obviously for Pennsylvania.
Also I add the country, if needed, say [AU] or [CAN] to further clarify. It makes a big difference if the headline reads 'Bust of the century' whether it is [RI] or [UK].
It also makes it easier for people who like to search for stories from their home state or country. Most longtime readers of News have also started using that same format.
