Fun anecdote: I attempted to steal CocoRosie's first album from Tower today, and the alarm went off, so I bolted, and in a few minutes I'll see if it was worth it or not

despite this post being 2155 days old, i felt it better to bump this than make a new post.
holy fuck is this evolving group of musicians beyond stellar
i was exposed to their music less than a year ago and just recently started listening to them in depth. starting with the first two albums and some live stuff from 04-07, i was blown away. for the last few hours i've been watching live vids, old and new, and must say that a lot of those songs translate well into the r&b-ish/hip-hoppish sound from 07-10 (haven't seen any 11-12 yet)
this is almost like listening to portishead or daniel johnston for the first times
as well, panda, i hope things are  for you

cocorosie is one of my favorite bands.
such a great sound.
they have a really great live album i fully recommend.
they can be creepy cute badass or sad in the same song. its impressive.
