 The Reply-To Feature. Learn it, Use it, Love it.   3

Integrated into the UBBThreads Bulletin Board Software is a useful feature I like to call the Reply-To feature. This feature allows comments in a conversation to be directed to specific members, making for easier communication.
At the top of each reply underneath the Thread title, you will notice it says RE: USER NAME POST NUMBER like so:
Now if you wanted to reply to the same post, you simply click on the reply button (this will open a new page with all of the UBB code options for making a post):
To make a quick reply, hit the quick reply button:
and it will automatically select the right post from the drop down menu at the bottom of the page in the quick reply box:
or you could just use the drop down menu manually, like so:
It is pretty self explanatory. Use it. Care about something, and use this feature. There is no excuse for it, like spell check.

Yeah, man every post I read, I look at who it's in reply to.
Sometimes I'm not sure if a certain person just isn't aware who the reply is set on or if they just don't know about it at all. But there are a lot of instances where someone is answering a question or response yet they have the "reply to" set on the default - so it looks like they are addressing someone else. In some cases you just have no idea if someone is specifically speaking to someone or just to everyone in general. if I am addressing a post to anyone who might be reading the thread, I reply to the first post.
I love the quick reply button.. i use it 99% of the time.

Actually it just makes it way easier to tell what the hell is going on in threads, and eliminates a lot of misdirected hostility.
