As someone has already mentioned huffing N20 or helium, I'll go for having an explosive grenade in the mouth. It's not painless, but it's bloody quick and I always wanted to go out with a bang.

If I was a multi-billionaire and wanted to commit suicide, here's how I'd do it.
Pay NASA to fly me into space the farthest away from Jupiter the space shuttle could be with out getting sucked in. Then, I'd exit the space shuttle in an space suit and let Jupiter's gravity pull me in and crush me.

fuckin big suicide thread.
anyway starvation or opiate OD are my choices. When your body eats away at it's self it releases endorphins -- I remember hearing that in some tribes elders who were sick would go off into a cottage type jammy far away from the otehrs and die of starvation. I think I read it in a book about euthanasia.

i say go out like a man. A sharp spike up the urethra, a knife up the anus. Grind the testicles up, and pay a large Mexican man to beat in your chest cavity.
But if i were to die like a pussy, it would either be from an opiate overdose, or a marijuana overdose (i would seal myself in a room, and burn several pounds of bud)

Firstly drug overdoses would be really difficult you'd have to use the perfect mix and if you stuffed up even slightly you'd spend days dying. We had a kid in the hospital who'd OD on pain killers and it took him three days to die and we couldn't give him anything for the pain. Bleeding gut, toxic liver, vomiting bile.
Starvation would suck, your stomach begins to produce such heavy stomach acids that it dissolves itself. thats why starving kids have bloated stomachs.
Do not go quietly into the night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Yes, APAP OD is especially slow and painful I've heard. It's like the depressed teenager call for help suicide drug, because most of them get found out and taken to the ED. They live, but sometimes with serious consequences on the body.
I still maintain asphyxiation by nitrous oxide would be pretty simple.
I hear there's websites which tell you how to build a machine that will kill you for you, lol.
It's great and all to jokingly discuss how we'd do it, but in the process a huge thread has bee made comparing/contrasting the different ways for those who might actually be serious about it. Though if they are serious, they will be doing it anyway, threads like this might help them not fail.

i dont know if they would do that, plus its a really long trip to jupiter. if i were a billionaire and wanted to kill myself quickly i would pay a country to set off an atomic bomb, and id be sitting on it when it went off.... you would feel nothing

I really fail to see how it matters how painful/painless your death is. When you die you either A: Go off to some other dimension, B: Cease to exist entirely, or X: Something else I haven't thought of.
Either way, why worry about how or when you are going to die. That's time better spent thinking about how you're going to live your life while you're still here IMO...

I hear when you jump off a building you die before you hit the ground, of shock. or at least black out before you hit.. possiblly have an intense dmt trip from it being released from knowing you're going to die?
