hanging would be terrible. a noose is designed to snap your neck, but you often just end up choking. haning takes at least 10 mins.

painless would sitting in a garage with the car running.

I was thinking ODing on sleeping pills would go nice as well. Now I think Id rather take the n2o  :drooling:

there is nothing that would keep me from taking heroin if i wanted to kill myself, one solid heavy dose of heroin, i would sit back and let it happen. hanging onesself is kinda crazy.. too scary for me. and when i went to ireland and was standing at the top of the Aran Island cliff's i thought to myself. if i were to commit suicide, i'd come here to do it and just jump. buti i dunno if i'd have the courage, heroin sounds so peaceful.

but then again a part of me feels like if i were to commit suicide i'd want to feel the death. I'd want to feel life slip away and being on crugs isn't conducive to that. so then yea, maybe slitting one's wrists in a warm bath would be ideal

much easier/quicker if you get a garden hose and shove it in the exhaust. then cover the exhaust with ductape. then lead the hose to your car window.

The thread creator seems to have some suicidal tendencies to me.  Why would it be preferrable that it uses easily obtainable household items?  Suicide is a cowards way out IMHO. 

If your not suicidal sorry for asuming, but It's kind of hard not to :chillpill:

No, I'm not suicidal. Here's why I was asking about the common household items.

I was envisioning a scenario where some kind of Gestapo or secret police were knocking on your door/looking to seize you and commit absolutely terrible acts of torture on you. Such as smashing your testicles with bricks or slicing off your eyelids and putting cigarettes out on your eyes. Room 101 stuff.

I've been watching too much of Alex Jones' stuff. About America becoming a Police State, etc.

So, my thought was, if you knew it was coming and wanted to end it in a gentler way (because you know it will end soon either way, but terribly painfully with the guards) what could you grab in an average household and do the deed?

And also, about it being a coward's way out...I guess I don't know who I would be trying to impress by not being a "coward"? John Wayne? I mean, I think those who don't fight a bear and win at least once in their life are "cowards."

Sorry for asuming, but I'm sure you can understand where I'm coming from.

As for it being a cowards way out, I mean that in the fact that it hurts everyone around you and makes devastating impacts on people's lives. It's rather selfish IMO. Just my .02

I suppose bringing a being into existence without getting consent from that being first is rather selfish as well. You just assume the being will enjoy it/that the world is not total shit. I would see suicide as being a leveling event.
