Sonicare toothbrush
    #5117605 - 12/29/05 01:33 AM (18 years, 3 months ago)

I got a Sonicare toothbrush by Phillips for Christmas. It's the best thing I've purchased in a long time. I can't believe how clean it makes my teeth feel and look. I can't believe that I used to use a regular toothbrush to brush my teeth. I highly recommend buying one for yourself.

My life before buying this toothbrush was a waste.

Grandma gave me a check for Christmas. I purchased the Sonicare toothbrush with this money. It's a great product.

I've heard they can tear up your gums,if your not a "vigorous brusher" every day...

that can't translate well for the colon,,

It's probably the best thing for your mouth you can do on a regular basis. It doesn't tear up anything, i've had mine for a good long time and have no cavities yet. Listerine helps too, but i don't use it everyday.

my cousin was working for a temp agency assembling/packing them.. nothing but retards. they tried to stress the point of washing your hands before you returned to work, but no one did...

one day, there was this one african dude was taking a leak with one hand, brushing his teeth with the other... craziest shit my cousin ever saw.. there was a lot of whack shit like that there..

I've had mine for over a year, and haven't been to the dentist yet--my teeth and gums have never been in better shape.  Check out Ebay for cheap replacement heads, and make sure you remove + clean the head periodically, because water collects in there and can make for an interesting case of black mold.

But I agree, life without Sonicare sucks, you have to go to the dentist and stuff.

They're a pain in the ass to take care of. Make sure you completely take it apart and dry off everything after each use. Otherwise contacts will rust. Water gets past the pathetic seals. I also have the best Sonicare on the market. Works like a charm but not built to last.

I've got a nice electric toothbrush too. They're pretty sweet. Makes your teeth feel clean as shit.

I've also got braces so it's just a pain to brush with a normal toothbrush. When I get them off I'm sure to keep my electric toothbrush, for life.

I guess they're also pretty good for when you're really drunk or burnt! Whenever I just wanna crash I load some toothpaste on, hit the floor and start brushing my teeth. No one likes waking up hung like a towel with dogshit breath.

Thanks for the tips and stories guys.  The only problem that I've encountered so far is miscalculating how long the battery lasts before needing to be recharged.  I've had the battery die twice now during a brush session.  It sucks ass.  I had to go back to hand held brush until it recharged.  Today I just left the thing plugged in, charging it all day long just to make damn sure it'll be ready when I need it next.

How do you guys go about cleaning out the water on the inside of it so that it doesn't rust?  The space inside is so tiny that it would take a Q-Tip to dry it out.
