Some people dont drink enough water and it hurts. I do that all the time. Gas, dehydration, to many toxics in the body; drugs, alcohol, pills. Stuff like that.
Or it could be something worse like stones. I would drink nothing but canberry juice and water for 3 days, eat whatever, but if it doesnt feel better by then id go to the doc's.

You need to drink some beer like me, I am feeling much better..I have some robitussin maximum strength with DXM only in it but I always tend to take too much and it keeps me up, I need to get up at 5 am tomorrow for work.
Hey I had congestion so bad the other day, I felt like I was going to have a heart attack or something..along with bad body aches..this illness going around makes you feel so shitty, it sucks!

lots of water is good for being sick and it is good when you are a drinker too. Trust me I know about drinking lots of water, I can drink a lot of alcohol and not hardly even get hungover..I just drink lots of water after I drink and if i get up during the night I drink a lots of more water..

Dont try to drink all the reccomended at once, it wont make up for the day. Just drink a couple of glasses tonight, go to the store tommorow and get some cranberry juice, and drink a glass of water and a glass of cran at least 5 times. If your not better by the end of the day. GO TO THE DOC'S PLEASE!! Lemme know.

Considering if/when it burst it will poison you to death, you'll be lucky if its kidney stones. I hear passing those feels like giving birth to a backwards porcupine, but you'll live. Only when they are to big to pass do you need surgery to remove them. Cranberry juice can help to shrink them.
I'll say a prayer for you buddy. Insurance or not, I'd go to the hospital.

I had pain in the exact spot you're mentioning. It was a kidney stone. Hopefully it's not the case for you. If it is the pain will probably force you to the emergency room eventually. So monitor that and also pay attention to the color of your urine- if its stones it'll discolor, turning red or rust colored. Good luck!

im going to put my money on appendicitis. see if you match any of these symptoms:
Symptoms of appendicitis include:
-Dull pain centered around the navel, which progresses to a sharp pain in the lower right side of the abdomen.
-Pain in the lower back, hamstring or rectum (less commonly).
-Fever.
-Vomiting.
-Diarrhea or constipation.

if it was gallstones, you would want to drink apple juice, the pectin helps to soften gallstones for easy (er) passage
milk thistle is also good.

He's pretty much right in a nutshell. Apendicitis is pretty damn nasty and is very capable of causing death.
I'd really strongly recommend you head to a free clinic if you have any suspicion that this may be the case. hell, head there anyhow... it cant hurt. If it's gallstones perhaps they can give you medicine that would help. even if only to ease pain in passing them. If it's apendicitis you have a little time in which you can scrape up cash, or get a loan, so you can pay your medical bills.
I'm hoping it's gallstones for your sake. Since medical bills are awful. Surgeons are way too pricey these days
