all these rumors need to stop....
there are , as discussed earlier ,some RARE instances where some under lying psychological problems have come to surface in some individuals after dosing but again theses are rare and the tendency was already there..

I've taken extremely high doses before and have probably done over 10,000 'hits' (dosage may vary kiddies) in my years and I'm not crazy 
sure I'm not the same....but I feel I'm better than never have done before....although it does leave you wanting
more?

Obviously he had underlying psychological issues as goobler stated. I dosed 7 hits just a few weeks ago and I am not messed up. On another note Iv dosed plenty more than 7 hits back around 00 - 01 and I have no premanent mental damage done.

Orange sunshine was among the micro dots that was manufactured by Owsley Stanley in the bay area, he also produced Purple Haze White lightning and I forget the name of the blue microdot. Each differed in purity and therefore had different feelings but all were indeed LSD 25. If you did one of these varieties in the early 70's it most likely came form Owsley.

I'm really confused here now. I emailed Owsley last year and asked him this question too. He sead to me, he did not make the Orange Sunshine back then, his apprentice did! (bear@thebear.org)He also told me that he stoped making LSD before the OS was made.
Why im asking; because of so many other reads that say it is or was not ADL-52 and or DOM. I don't think what I took was DOM.
So I believe that alot of you also TRULY are not sure ether!.
I'm new to this site, although im not new to the tried and true pstchedelics an the RC'S too. Anyone want to talk about DOC?

Yea, the orange sunshine acid was a Sand/Scully production...and supposedly it was ALD-52...scully decided to use it instead, as that compound was legal at the time, unlike lsd, and also had more pleasant effects. But this is just what I've gathered from reading, who knows what it actually was, unless someone still has a hit around that we could test.

I recently read in Phil Lesh's book about the fact that the Orange was in fact a Bear product and that it was indeed LSD???????

He may have just not known. At the time orange sunshine was around, everyone thought it was Owsley's latest great creation, just because he had been the one churning out all the great acid. Everyone thought it was genuine acid, because it was sold as acid and not ALD-52....there had been distribution issues when no one wanted to buy STP/DOM that they had been producing. When ALD-52 was created, it was just sold as normal acid so they wouldn't have a problem finding buyers...it was supposed to be a better version of acid, with more pleasant mental effects, although the production of ALD-52 required extra steps in the synthesis, as you had to have LSD-25 first to create it.
BTW, how was Phil's book? I might have to pick it up
