Hey guys im kinda new to shrooms, the only way i consumed shrooms so far was just put em in sandwiches lol
Can someone please tell me how to make the shroom tea? Also will the trip be stronger if u make tea, kinda like makin brownies :-P, or is it the same? TY

Here's how I do it:
8oz water
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon sugar
honey to tase
mix together and bring to a boil, take off the heat and add ground mushies. Cover and let sit 15 minutes. Add a bag of your favorite tea. Re-cover and let steep 5-15 more minutes. Strain through a coffee filter, enjoy!
As for your second question, the trip may feel stronger because the come-up is much faster. I usually start to feel it kicking in about ten minutes after drinking tea.

personally I prefer having tea as opposed to eating them, mostly because I despise the taste of Shrooms, but also because I find the come up to be quicker and easier on the gut.

I agree, and funfungi's recipe is right on. a lot of people don't take the time to grind them up, I think this makes all the difference.

Thanks funfungi, ill try that in about a week or so when i trip again. I dont mind the taste of shrooms, i usualy eat em in a sandwich but i guess i like the fact it hits u faster. I already experienced that once, my last trip the shrooms kicked in within 5 minutes and i was completely out of it in 15....compared to the usual 35-45 minutes. I dunno HOW or WHY they kicked so fast but it was awsome, the only thing was the trip lasted only 3-3 1/2 hours. :-(

I do it the same way fufungi does it.. except I don't strain out the shrooms.
I just leave the little pieces in there and sip em down with the tea. No sense wasting precious psilocybin.

last new years I ate about 20 large cyans (yikes) and had them all kick in within about 10 minutes. I was curled into a ball throwing up for most of the trip. it sucks when they hit that fast.
my recipe for tea isnt the same as most peoples.
I usualy boil about two cups of water in a pot, then pour it in a blender with my powdered shrooms (coffee grinder), and add some koolaid mix. turn the blender on and let it blend for about 2 minutes. then remove, pour, and enjoy. me and my girl did this about a week ago and it was a very awesome experience.

SWIM was thinking of making pre-measured one or two gram 'dose' teabags.....
anyone think of any other other herbs/teas to compliment to shrooms and mask the taste?

i put ground shrooms in some peppermint tea bags and stapled them back together... that worked great... ive also done this with orange iced tea bags, that stuffs delicious.

Ive had kool aid in the fridge for about three/four days with no prob, but yeah you want to consume it preferably right after preparing it.

hey heres a little different way... buy some juice like ocean spray, simply bring it to a very light boil, turn the heat in half and add the spores. last batch i dint grind and it came out really nice but im going to grind them this time and see whats better. I think its best to make a higher concentrated lower amount of juice so i put at least a quad to a half in a whole bottle... too much juice can start to upset your stomach, but overal you have a great tasting 100%vitamin c juice tea.P.s. the tang of like white cranberry juice makes every sip send shock waves through your mindddd~!~!~!. PEACE

Spores don't contain active chemicals. Did you mean mushrooms?
also, you can strain out the mushrooms, which will probably make your tea more drinkable

My girlfriend made the most awsome mushroom soup. Basically it was just some chicken noodle flavouring, some herbs from the garden and the shroomies which had been soaked in vinegar/tomato juice for about half an hours. She added a little bit of butter and water, of course... strained it all at the end and poured it into 3 cups. It was AMAAAZING. Tasted great and worked really well.

Yes. You can. Soak the shrooms like you would any other form of tea and then strain out the plant matter.

how many grams do you sudgest to get like 6-7 people trippin off the tea? I will only have like 8ish grams...
also, any problem with puttin a bit of mary jane in the mix too?

1-It depends on the strength and species of shrooms you have and to what level you want to take the trip too. If they're cubies 8 grams split between 6-7 people will most likely bring on 'the sparkle' with visual distortions and slightly loopy thoughts, but not a full blown trip. But there are a lot of variables.
2-The cannabinols in MJ aren't water soluble so while it won't cause any problems it's a waste of weed. Just smoke it, yo!
