help improving a crayfish population

Recently Ive caught what I consider a good amount of crayfish out of a small creek. This has me motivated to improve the habitat so I could have more next year. Ive read a small amount about what they like. Shelter, in the form of rocks on the bottom. Food which will be anything and everything because they are opportunistic scavenging omnivores. And water. A long time ago I already slowed the movement of the water by adding a couple of dams. So now I figure all I need to do is throw lots of concrete bricks and rocks in the water, and start feeding them. Ill give them animal guts, and grass clippings. Do you see problems that i might cause doing this? Or things i could do to improve this better?
And some recipes would be nice too.

There are a million recipes for crawfish on the web. I personally like to use Zatarans crab boil. This is spicy, but tasty! You take the live crawfish and dump them in boiling water with the Zatarans. You can also add potatoes, corn, sausage, whatever you want to the mix. Boil for 10 minutes. Then cut off the heat and let them soak for 30 minutes. Oh yeah, you may want to boil the veggies for a while before adding the crawfish. Nothing worse than rock potato

I used the zatarans earlier and it turned out good, except i didnt add enough hot spices.

I had a bad case of rock potato from a Healthy Choice dinner kit. If it weren't for the coupon, I never would have bought this nasty shit. Note: weed seems to make it edible.

me and my friend caught over 150 one season, in our creek alone
we built what you would call a "habitat" out of a section of creek. We fed them raw bacon, and they came back for more everyday its actualy fairly easy to have your own crayfish farm.
good luck, take pictures when your done and post them here, ide like to see
