I tried some of our 5x wormwood extract . Very stoning, and similar to other popular herbs if you ask me .
I tried the vodka and wormwood mix. The wormwood is soo bitter you wont be able to drink it unless you have it distilled. just my 2 cents.

Yep, just smoke it like anything else man. I smoked plain wormwood in february and got a very light stone. I remember reading somewhere, where they put wormwood in there spaghetti and it turned into a laughable night. :p

What exactly could you use to make a wormwood "hash oil" type product? Other than bacardi, which seems a waste unless you're going to drink it, could you use isopropyl alcohol or acetone like with real hash oil?
I've heard of some people getting success off smoking wormwood, but I have yet to try it myself.

I once smoked A WHOLE LOT of wormwood along with A WHOLE LOT of Tagetes Lucida, with a bit of weed... I'm talking like 40 bongs here, at least. I got some very intense CEVs (like forest scenes, humanoid insects, I have to visit my grandmother who I haven't seen in 15 years type of stuff) and auditory enhancement. A very nice experience, beside the total 'I give up' attitude of my lungs. Maybe extract would work. From about five deep hit's I'd get some definate pattern enhancement, but nothing more... I haven't revisted it since then, but it might go somewhere...

In my experience, tagetes lucida does absolutely nothing. I've smoked 3 or 4 joints of it along with bowls of the shit, and it did nothing. Have you gotten any effects from it?

I smoked plain wormwood before, first time felt a sudden shiver/energy throughout my body then a mild high, 2nd time, same with no sudden blast. The weird thing though was it made me feel 'hollow', kind of hard to describe, but it was like i had no organs or something, very odd.

The Tagetes Lucida certainly would do something for me after about five bongs... a feeling like "OK, so you WANT to get high?" but never quite eventuates... as for the wormwood, the only time I really got it to work was HELL on my lungs, the rest of the time I could get some darkening of colours and a sorta 'stuck-eye' feeling after about five bongs. Still, more effective than Dagga or Damiana to smoke, and a pleasant smoke too.. maybe you could make a tea out of about 20g, that might do something.

Thujone produces a state of excitement and is a powerful convulsant. Ingestion of wormwood may result in absinthism, a syndrome characterized by digestive disorders, thirst, restlessness, vertigo, trembling of the limbs, numbness of the extremities, loss of intellect, delirium, paralysis, and death.
Toxicology
Wormwood is classified as an unsafe herb by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) because of the neurotoxic potential of thujone and its derivatives. The safety of wormwood is poorly documented despite its long history as a food additive. Convulsions, dermatitis, and renal failure have been documented.
Wormwood extract is the main ingredient in absinthe, a toxic liquor that induces absinthism, a syndrome characterized by addiction, GI problems, auditory and visual hallucinations, epilepsy, brain damage, and increased risk of psychiatric illness and suicide. The drink has been banned in several countries, but in the 19th century, absinthe-based liquor was known for its aphrodisiac and healing properties and also was reputed to stimulate creativity. The emerald-green color of absinthe liquor came from chlorophyll; however, copper and antimony salts were reportedly added as colorants to inferior batches, with toxic consequences. Thujone-free wormwood extract is currently used as a flavoring, primarily in alcoholic beverages such as vermouth. 2 , 12 , 13

i actually grew wormwood for quite some time. i prefer making it into a tea. if you do smoke bud, it will noticeably increase the high. making it more fun imo. typically we'd put a little in with a bowl. or smoke some bud. followed by a few bowls of wormwood.

I once extracted the thujone with 90% iso.
I was like 15 though, i think I got some visual effects from smoking the extract..
Smoking a kava extract actually got me high though...

lots on erowid abou ti that surprised me..
and a kava extract is on my to do list...i do hear its pretty good for what it is..

would you smoke it as an extract or the plant matter? i have a variety of artemesia us mexicans make it in a tea. its very calming. i have some leaves i harvested drying out so i can mix with my marijuana.

I just mixed the extract with a bit of foliage and smoked a bowl that way.
The kava did get me high, but the taste was so bad I forgot about doing it....
maybe I should have tried eating the kava extract instead of smoking it?
