Any hallucinogenic mushrooms in Colorado?

Hi, I'm new to the wonderful world of mushrooms and I'd like to get some info on hunting. I checked to see which mushrooms grow in Colorado but I don't know if any of them are hallucinogenic. Here's the list and I hope someone can help, thanks. Panaeolus castaneifolius Gymnopilus spectabilis Gymnopilus sapineus Pluteus salicinus Gerronema fibula Conocybe cyanopus

i believe thats the list from the FAQ, and all the mushrooms listed on that page are psychoactive.

well the list Gastronomicus got those from on the FAQ says, "The following is a list of common psychoactive mushrooms." I guess some of them might not be, but it seems weird that there would be inactive mushrooms on the list that every one puts so much emphasis on reading before you ask what actives grow in your area.

I did some research of my own and I think that only Conocybe cyanopus and Panaeolus castaneifolius are psychoactive which is odd, as they were all on the FAQ. Maybe someone should update it, or maybe I'm wrong...

Sounds good, I just wanted a small hobby for the summer while my own mushrooms grow. My friend and I just started recently using the PF tek, I'll see if I can get some pics up. Thanks everyone for the help.

Mitchnast i believe Panaeolus castaneifolius is in fact active. You might have a mistaken identification with the ones you find.
-----------
Ive never even heard of Gerronema fibula and doubt it is active. mjshroomer should know.
I also believe Gymnopilus sapineus is not an active shroom either. I have found it here in florida and it does not stain blue or green.
And you can also add Amanita muscaria and A. pantherina to your list in Colorado.

oops i thought it aid campatalanus and then i copired and pasted. well good luck finding castaneifolius. they grow anywhere you can find subbaltaetus except straw alone, and in the same habitats and ranges. more warm-weather fruiting in my experience.

Hey Coloretarted or whatever your user name is. I'm near Aspen, and well, there are many types of active mushrooms in this area such as the Panaeolus sphinctrinus (black spore print) and the Panaeolus semiovatus (black spore print) and this one has ONLY appeared to be active in Colorado.

Those aren't active, and they aren't active in Colarado either.
