hanky got a 2 week ban for scat in the pub, he recieved a 30 day ban for scat in
the pub... do I think a week long ban is a deterant fo most shit, yes for some
people but for others it's absolutely nothing, I know people that have been
released on parole after 7 years that have immediately gone out and done something
to be returned to prison, my stepdad recieved 2 years, got released, a life
sentance, was released and 3 months later back in for another life sentance, he
also had 8 DUIs in a 3 year span.

I'll agree with you there, tool. A one week ban isn't shit. For repeat offenders, the ban should be closer to a month.

Just replying to whoever here.
- Hanky did not post scat.
- Hanky did post a picture of chicken sex.
- Hanky did not have malicious intentions when posting said pic.
- Hanky has been VERY well behaved since his last ban as he knew what could happen.
- Hanky did not realise the chicken sex pic would get him banned.
- Hanky was not asked to remove the picture.
- Hanky was banned for 'Scat and Beastiality' pics.
THOSE are the facts.

Yeah, I know he was banned for a month. I don't think he knew what he was doing was a bannable offense, though. That rule has always been kinda overlooked in OTD.

I just honestly don't think he posted what he did with malicious intent.
I dunno. This whole situation is just shitty. I think the admin need to rethink the permaban part.

What would be cool is if like, for one day a week otd=ag. That way we can the the things out of our systems. There can be a disclaimer that gaurentees you will be offended on that day, it would be cool.

I dunno, this whole situation got horribly blown out of proportion, which was then reacted to childishly by the OTD members this afternoon.
Something has to be done, though, that's for sure.
