Hi im almost done with my first grow and all my jars are colonized except one which is not even half way done. I was gonna toss it but was wondering if it would be a good idea to cut away the uncolonized brf and boil the myc for a tea. I read it can give you a killer tummy ache. Also the uncolonized half is starting to smell kinda funny so will it be safe??

i dont think it would be worth the risk of getting sick. you never know what contam is in there and some contams can kill you. if you drank this 'contaminated tea' and found out you developed some sort of fatal liver disease as a result then would you think it was worth it?

Please don't do this, it's really disgusting and quite ineffective. I attempted this once upon a time, and I'll never forget that night. Not in a cool, trippy rememberance sort of way either, more like "let's see how much we can gross ourselves out tonight".

even though i dont have diver's personal eperience i wuld still say jus throw out the cake and go about fruiting the ones that are colonized and ready to fruit
