A Fragment of The Universe as Part of the Whole.... . . . . .
So, let us break down the Universe into smaller pieces and find the actual meaning behind the word....  
Universe = ALL EXISTING things, including Earth and it's creatures, and the Heavenly Bodies.... 
Uni = One, or "Only One"....
Verse? = Poetry, esp. a metrical (in rhythmic meter, in time) form of composition, a stanza of a poem, as distinct from "Prose"....
(Prose = Written or spoken language not in "verse" form....)
Verse? = The solo part of a song having a chorus....
Verse? = Each of the short numbered divisions of a chapter in the Bible....
One meaning is a stripped away version of: Biblical Text - To have a very deep meaning to some.... 
Another meaning adds the element of TIME into it....
And yet another meaning adds Song & Music and the Spirit of Music to it's meaning with MUCH more implied meaning....
 
So, if you add all of the meanings of "Verse" up, you get (off the top of my head with creative interpretation)....:
+ BIBLICAL TEXT = Deep Historical & Religious Meaning + GOD + Jesus Christ + Knowledge + Reading Understanding Language....
+ SONG? = Poetry + Emotion + Spirit + Passion + Celebration + Harmony + Melodies + Colors of Sound + Mood + Composition + ALL People
+ SONG? = Creation/Creativeness + LIVE Performance + Band (a group of people) + Frequencies of Sound + Math + Structure....
+ TIME....
= VERSE....
That sure is a LOT of meaning for one word when you read into it's seperate parts....!   
Why "One Verse"s....? 
So,
+ Universe = ALL EXISTING things, including Earth and it's creatures, and the Heavenly Bodies....
+ Universal = Of, or For, or Done by ALL in experience....
= LIFE
Well damn, that about sums it up....
It would seem by definition that we are ALL Vessels of the Universe within a Universe of Universal Vessels....
Now you can say you are "well versed" in the Universe...! 
(If I only had more Space....  )

that is why the pieces will never be reunited as One.
