Anno, did your isolated strain produce sclerotia on rye berries? Did you leave them in the jars long enough to produce sclerotia?

Yes, the strain began to produce sclerotia, then I had to put the jars into fridge for 2 weeks, because I went on vacations, then I cased it.

The biggest caps are about 1/2 in wide.
Sorry guys, no spores from these.
Apparently I isolated a sterile strain. The caps have been sitting on the glass slides for 18 hours now, and not a trace of a spore. Also the gills are very lightcolored :(

ooops...my bad. I thought I remember you posting pics of them previously Well congrats on your first time fruiting them. There is always something mystical within seeing a new species fruit for the first time
As for trying them, I always recommend starting off with 1 gram. Get the feeling and vibe for them. Get comfortable with the anxiety from them. About an hour after your comfortable with it, then eat 1 or 2 more grams and go from there. Just a little rule of thumb I follow, unless I'm camping. Then no rules apply, eat massive handfulls (only after camp site is setup and complete) and let the spirit flow heavily

Well, I took 2 g as a tea at the end.
The trip was very collorfull,patterns, morphing objects. But it wasn?t too strong on the mind, I never lost the control over things. Next time I?ll go with little more.

Only a few mushrooms emerged on the second flush, no wonder with the big first flush. After that I said farewell to it.
