cyans is not even a word.
There are
Psilocybe cyanescens
and there are
Panaeolus cyanescens.
2 completely different species.

Sorry was being lazy and making own shorthand form  I meant it to be plural also again I am sorry for wrong term useage . Please do not beat and whip me when you get home tonite

Not all Cyanescens are wood lovers only .

They can be started on grains...then spawned to wood.
You can also take mycelium from wild Psilocybe Cyanescens and spawn wood.
The Panaeolus Cyanescens
They are started on grains...they love the poo.

Thanx RK ... sweet simple and to the point , and which is which as far as who likes what sub.
So I was not wrong and full of useless info on a topic kinda new to me.
There were a few comments about being wood lovers only that I was trying to clear up and understand better myself. I was affraid I was way off base when I said the not all require wood to be happy and healthy.
