a. Habitat (where [state/province/country] and what does it grow on)- wood chips , florida , united states. b. Characteristics of the gills (color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc) - on 2 they are a more browner color , but on the others there are more of a pinkish and lighter color. c. Measurements of cap and stem. cap is about and inch wide , and stem is about an inch tall. d. Characteristics of the stem (color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc) - Tan , not hallow , but not too thick. e. Characteristics of the cap (color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc) - brown , dark in center , lighter towards the ending f. Spore print color (very important!) - they are too dry to take one g. Color that the mushroom bruises - the color in the photo h. Scent of mushroom - Mushroomy , kinda strong P.S , i will thank you in advance if you help , but your smart remark kinda pisses me off "Yep. Those are mushrooms." I want to give you one back and say , oh i thought they were flowers so i posted them in mushroom hunting , but im not going to. Thanks..

Are the gills atatched to the stem, or do they stop short?

your photo is too shitty, try taking a pic with a less-reflective background like a dark blue shirt or something... your mushrooms do not look active, and are probably not edible. Next time when giving information, try giving information for each mushroom sepperately, and have them in sepperate pictures of groups if possible; "on 2 they are a more browner color , but on the others there are more of a pinkish and lighter color. " - this is not a good way to describe which mushrooms your speaking of. And spore print is probably the #1 key in identifying these mushrooms, try getting some fresh specimens or it's hopeless.

With them being dried out and no spore print, even getting the genus correct will be tough.
At first glance they look like Pluteus, but Agaricus is also a reasonable guess for genus. And several other genera are possible. Those guesses assume the gills are free. If they're attached then an entirely different set of guesses apply.
In other words, his "smart remark" may be about as good as you can get. Identifying dried out mushrooms without a microscope is more often than not an exercise in futility.
Happy mushrooming!

Well without a spore print I find myself guessing again. I suppose my ego can handle it if I'm wrong.
Given the woody substrate, pink gills, free gills, and general appearance of the mushrooms, it looks like you probably have a species of the genus Pluteus. Other possibilities are Entoloma and Nolanea (this assumes that the spores are pink, which is a big assumption.)
Some species of Pluteus are active but they are rare. These can be distinguished from the numerous inactive lookalikes by the bluing reaction. If your Pluteii do not bruise blue, then they are not active.
If you get a chance, post some fresh ones along with a spore print, and we can make a proper ID.

No, only about 6% of fungi have been IDed. I believe Greatone has found a number of active gyms in Florida. I have found active gyms in woodchips, so it would not surprise me if it were possible to find actives in woodchips in Florida. All I meant was that you live in Florida, woodchips is not where I'd be looking.

Exactly , i never said iw as searching his driveway down. Like someone would a cow pasture , i cought them out fo the corner of my eye. And im pretty sure there is some active species on woodchips in florida , whether its rare or not , "about 6% of fungi have been IDed." With only 6% god knows what the other 94% can bring.
