You could drop both and go with the whole "world is over populated" deal.

Question, Embryos are they all certain of becoming life? I don't think they are.
But is potential life worth more then existing life on a smaller scale? The embryos are worth one thousand potential and the baby is one existent.
The chance of more then one being born is 99%. More life is preserved by choosing the embryos.
But is that more important? Or is it the suffering of the existent?
Is death suffering? For many don't agree. Esepcially for a baby.
Some may say that you cannot say one life is more worthier then the others.
Maybe, the good of the many outweighs the good of the few.
I could not choose and I would be happy with either safely in my hands.

The real question is; Why were you playing 'catch' with Michael Jackson?

Are they chicken embryos? 'Cus I like 'em scrambled with feta cheese.
-------------------- To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

Is it a sealed can of beer or a large open glass stein? Underhand toss or overhand hurl? Bud or Sam Adams? A hot buring pipe or an unlit doobie? Schwag or kind? Specifics, man, specific!

The embroys all represent the potential for life whereas the baby is an actual living being. It doesn't really matter if the baby and all the embryos die. But it wouldn't make sense to choose the potential for life over an actual life.

Would you choose a million unresellable lottery tickets or $1? The $1 is an actuality, the lottery tickets are just potentiality.

Ha, nice try Swami. This is a "moral dillema" we're talking about. As such, you cannot compare the value of a dollar to the value of a baby's life. Sure, both are questions of potential. But my choice of having a dollar or the chance of a million dollars carries no moral weight. The question of wether to preserve the life of a baby or protect a case of embryoes does, as my choice could determine wether or not a living being gets to continue living. But you already knew that didn't ya fella? You and your damn reactive mind .

Embryos are more then extreme potentiality, getting more then 1 life is almost 100% .. while they are not existent they are in the stages of formation and you could without reasonable doubt say that you wold get hundreds of life from the embryos.

In theory, you should catch the embryos, because the baby is much more likely to survive an impact like that than a bunch of glass tubes are. So if you went for the box, most likely, both would survive.

considering that the planet is infested with humans you would have a moral imperative to let the embryos fall and then, for good measure, stomp them. I vote for retroactive abortion in a great many cases. Who decides? Moi, of course.

I would catch the baby and the thousand embryos. I would fertilize and harvest all of the embryos and raise them to do good for the world. I would end world hunger, end disease, and bring about world peace. I guess that's just because I am so capable.
