 Scraping poppy pods VS pod tea/putty

Does scraping pods give more yeild than just chopping down plants, drying them, and boiling the pods?
Is it better to let the pods dry first, or are they better when fresh?

It's less incriminating if you just cut the pods off than if you have a bunch of scraped pods still on the plants
Also you get more bang for your buck if you use the dried pods than if you collect opium
Downside is that poppy tea tastes really foul whereas opium is quite pleasant to smoke

Aye...... personally I love the taste of tea, I didn't used to, but it has grown on me you might say...:D Poppies are loads of fun to grow, but me, I really dont see the worth of scraping all your pods for O, unless you have a shitload of them, plus then you usually"cook" the opium, to remove the impurities, = more time, But if thats the way u wanna go, but it is very nice to mix a fresh harvest of raw "O" with some good kind. I dry the pods , just for storage. I'm sure youve prolly been here but www.poppies.org

Smoking O is nice but only lasts an hour or two. I'd stick to saving the pods for poppy tea.
Fresh or dried pods doesn't really make much difference. Fresh might be slightly more potent at a pinch.

Seems to me that the best thing to do would be to harvest the pods, dry them, and then bust them into five or so roughly equally sized pieces. Then mix all the pieces together to achieve a homogenous mixture, this would be how you store the main batch.
Smaller batches would be made from this homogenized batch by weighing them out, and pulverizing in a blender. From these smaller batches, individual doses would be measured and ground in a coffee grinder.
Then run through an espresso machine twice.

tried low profile inquiring of the vars and they wouldnt tell me.

im sure they have.
actually theres a few vendors on there with billions of feedback and nothing for sale but pods. they have been vending them for years.

So it is best to make the Poppy Tea with the dried pods(still containing the dried opium latex inside the pod),rather than just slicing the pods and getting the opium that way?Tosup question?Goes either way I suppose...thanks

my dog as ordered through ebay over 3 times and had no problems , smooth as silk, and the best part is the pods on ebay , so he tells me, are way cheaper and just a high quality as those overly priced vendors, bastards. But he has since given up that and likes to grow his poppies for all his floral needs. Way more fun that way too.

Few people have been busted through ebay selling pods... it's dangerous in my opinion. And a good way to be too obvious about pod practices. Not a good idea.
