I can't raise the humidity more than 44
    #22181945 - 09/03/15 07:44 AM (8 years, 7 months ago)

Well, I have a problem with the humidity of inside the growbag, it does not rise of the 44, and i know that the  minimum need is 60 and ideal between 80 and 95, I have the base of the bag full of water, and have sprayed with an atomizer the sides, but I do not achieve that it rises, have a good Higrometer of probe, I deduce that it measures well, the bag,  only has a bit of fume, not much, and the tiny rounds of water of the pulverizations, there is some method for raise the humidity but without raising the temperature? For that the temperature is ideal. I have a box of plastic and perlite, I thought to do it there, but I have wanted to prove the bag first to see that such. The micelium has spread a bit in the course of the morning but it has me worried, I live in Madrid and the climate it is very dry.
Anyone can help me? I start preparing the box with perlite? I dont know what to do :c
Thx for your time travellers.
Sorry for my bad English

Don't worry about the humidity.  Nobody here uses a hygrometer.  Just mist the substrate if it's dry.

Humidity is important, but hygrometers are often inaccurate unless you buy an expensive one and most digital hygrometers crap out relatively quick due to sitting in levels of 90%+ humidity.

With a properly built FC and proper maintenance of the FC (misting, fanning, adjusting polyfil) you won't have to worry about gauging your humidity level.

Cubes also show pretty obvious signs if they are too dry (blue-ing mycelium, matted mycelium, etc) and if too wet (fuzzy feet, aerial mycelium, dark bacterial growth on caps)

I'd just toss the hygrometer.  It's going to cause you nothing but frustration in the long run.

Water at the bottom is fine. You uust don't want any pooled up on the surface of the tray. Take a pen and poke a bunch of holes into the bag for more fae. Or better yet make a shotgun fruiting chamber.
