Contamination on second flush

one of my dubtubs was on its second flush and almost done. Went in today to see if they were ready for harvest and I found this patch of white and green mold so.

Two questions:

1) any clues as to what can cause that?

2) I harvested all the fruits that were an inch and a half away from the mold or farther. Are these still ok to consume?

On second flush I usually chalk it up to the tubs were weakened by bacteria, or they were infected but it was holding it off ok

I have no idea if that is correct though so Im interested to see what people respond
