 FREE GAME - Planetside 2 on Playstation 4

Planetside 2 is a MMOFPS for PS4. Basically, imagine World Of Warcraft meets Halo. There's huge continents that 3 factions are trying to conquer. This is a recipe for mayhem and total war. I highly recommend downloading it if you have PS4.
Here's a 3rd person video of Planetside 2 attempting to break the world record for most people in a FPS. Remember, Planetside is a FPS, so this video is just for spectating and capturing the scale of the battles in 3rd person. It's all out war. Skip around the video timeline to see how epic the battles is through out the entire 2 hours.

I should hope its free on ps4, since its a free game and always has been, That would suck for people if they tried to make console users pay for it. hah

Yep, I played the original Planetside on PC. Seems like only a handful of people played the first Planetside. I don't see what the big deal is about it going to PS4? I'm having a blast on the console.

No, I think it's great they go for crossplatform
But i've been a competitive FPS player for awhile now and the direction it's taken from PS - PS2 -> PS2 the last years
It's now "just a console game"

I wasnt making a negative statement about consoles or anything. Just wouldn't put it past sony to try to charge users for a free game is what I was inferring. lulz. Sony is pretty evil.

Evil sounds pretty harsh, but I think Microsoft is just as evil, if not more. They've fucked themselves and their customers over with their shit marketing plan to bring good games to the console. Microsoft admitted they have messed up and are now going to focus on PC gaming again. Their consoles were poorly designed, and probably on purpose just so people had to pay for repairs or a new one. I'll just say I'm waaay happier with my Playstation than I ever was with my Xbox and their red rings of bullshit.

when I say "sony" I mean far more then just their console. They sent out music CD's with backdoors that affected people who tried to burn copies of the CD. They have done quite a few things along this line on other platforms as well. Some scary shit when you have to worry about the company your buying something from sending you effectively a trojan. 
But yeah, the 360 red ring thing was a pain in the ass. I got hit with it but they replaced mine no problem and fast. I personally prefer the xbox platform to sony's but thats not because of any of this other stuff, just a preference thing.

Piss off with that that annoying black and white bullshit. "you love playstation, you hate microsoft, so fanboy". How can I hate Microsoft when I am using Windows 7 for basic tasks and enjoy it.
I dislike Microsoft's Xbox for empirical reasons, not some shit I read on the internet. I personally had ALL of my Xbox 360 consoles die on me. Every single one. Never dropped or anything.
My playstation 1 and 2 still work just fine, though...
So when I went to spend my ~$350 (black friday) on a gaming console, there's no question on who I am going to give my money to. I'd have to be a fucking moron to give Xbox/Microsfot more money.
And if anyone is going to make PC vs console comments, I spent 350, and I don't care about the 30 fps or 60 fps. I know all about it, and how smooth it looks. I built a PC in like 2002 or so, and it was great for like 8 years strong. But like I said, I'm not a huge gamer so it doesn't bother me if I'm not hitting 60 fps all the time. I just like to kill a few hours from time to time. And now I can because I have a console that actually works...
On topic of Planetside 2 on PS4, it's pretty fucking epic and chaotic. A lot more people playing than expected. Been playing the infiltrator the most. Love sneaking around invisible and getting headshots.
