So have any of you playing phantom pain gotten the horn to grow at all? I got it to grow in a cutscene but no matter what i do when the gameplay starts up i have a tiny nub the size of my dick. I've beaten the gane too, and i gotta say WOW. Awesome game, probably the best way to end the series and make konami regret the way they treated kojipro.

As cheesy as it sounds this game will make you feel and think in ways you never thought a video game could. Mgs is one of the few games out there that is truly art. For now until konami tries to make the next one.

Can't get enough of it, I haven't managed to beat the game yet though. I'm trying to take my time and enjoy the first play through as much as possible, I can't wait to play through it for a second time.

I'm only around 10% done, so far I'm enjoying randomly assaulting my team at the base, Boss is a massive jerk and I love it.

The mssions with the child soldiers made for some really funny screenshots, worlds strongest soldier slamming children into shelves, tossing them into dumpsters, and surrounding them with empty boxes and decoys.

Decoys are the best thing in this game, i really wanna find the lisa decoy.

Anyone want to become supporter buddies. My name is SuperHans. We should get a shroomery thing going and have each others backs for FOB

I've been wanting to find 99 luftballoons as well. I'll let you know if i find it. Though I'm pretty sure different songs appear for.each person. I went to go get snake eater in a location a friend found it amd i got spin me right round imstead.

I'd be down for the fob alliance, i play on ps4 amd at the moment they disabled searching for friends because it would be to much on the servers.

damn I was afraid of that
I've been watching play troughs of the missions I've already beaten
and noticed that the same radios seem to hold tapes
I was hoping the cassettes weren't random

also on PS4 and I'd willing to help defend your FOB's

If we wanna set up some fob alliances pm me your psn name(ps4 only) and we'll set it up when they get the servers running perfectly.

Nothing is worse than getting invaded then not being able to connect to your own fob, but nothing is better than when that happens and they still lose.

I also plan on setting up a clan when metal gear online goes live if anyone is interested.

I haven't played in a few days, servers were down last time I was on. How does the FOB system work? Also, anyone with a ps4 feel free to shoot me a PM with your screen name and I'll add you.

Yeah but pc won't have mgo till early next year, and personally something never feels right using a keyboard and mouse for video games, and even less right to have a controller plugged into a computer. Idk I'm kinda a gaming purist like that, really i can't stand any controller other than the dualshocks. They feel like an extension of my hands considering playstation has always been my preferred console. Although pc's do run games better and mods always win , something just doesn't feel right about pc gaming.

I can play music over the game on ps4, but with mgs i would like the game to have control and cut it off when a cutscene starts etc.

Have not tried the music feature on PC, but by the looks of things it just adds personal MP3 tracks to the in-game casette and helicopter loudspeaker functions.
Know that GTA 5 the Self radio works exactly like a regular radio station (with radio hosts and commercials between tracks and everything), but after the novelty wears off the existing in-game radio stations just fit the game world a bit better.
Think with MGS this would be even more true, though I suppose it would be possible to make a concentrated effort to only use appropriate tracks.

Playing with an Xbox 360 controller on my PC.
Dual shock 4 would definitely be an awkward transition in comparison, since the computer has to be tricked into emulating it as a Xbox controller. The game would tell me to "press X" and I would end up triggering A due to the positions being swapped.

Generally use my wireless 360 controller for most games these days; exceptions being Oblivion/Skyrim and MMORPGs, due to the number of hotkeys.
Tried Skyrim for a while with the controller, then swapped back because having to pause the game to cycle through my spells and weapons reduced the dynamic feeling of combat significantly.
All about context.

How many hours do you guys think the game is total if you were get mostly completionist about it?  I mean I put HUNDREDS of hours into skyrim when all was said and done because I loved just roaming around the world stumbling upon quests and npcs and such.  I've been thinking about picking this up sometime soon but since the last metal gear game I played was the one from NES I have no idea if this is a game I can crack out on for epic amounts of time like a good RPG, or if its more action oriented and getting more then 15 hours out of it is considered good.

Oh, and I use a 360 controller on my PC as well.  It seems to me that these days most of the games that are designed cross platform are properly built around using both styles and they usually work about the same, and a controller is easier on my hands and arms and sitting position.

Also I have an nvidia shield TV so I can stream my games to my living room which is even more awesomesauces.  I do need to buy a new router though as mine was a cheaper 'middle of the road' one years ago when Oxygen still lived with me and we didnt have much in the way of money to buy a really nice one.

I've probably put 15-20 hrs into the game (haven't played in a few days so I'm not sure the exact number), and I'm only about 17% complete. It's definitely a game that you can milk for time, especially if you play with a hardcore stealth style and go for "S" rank on missions like I do. You will be confused as fuck by the story if you haven't played any of the mgs titles though.
