Yeah, this is the buggiest game ive ever played and ive been playing video games since 1989
Guess you never played any other Bethesda releases then? Or Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.

game runs nice and stable for me and i'm playing the piratebay version (I'm not paying £80 for game+dlc. Fuck you bedestha, you're not worth it) because bedestha annoyed the piss out of me with their silence over the save game bug in fallout shelter. Thankfully, googleplay did refund my in game purchases.
I hope there's a quest where I get to remove the vocal chords of the diamond city radio DJ. I want to find where he lives and do it and I'm no surgeon. He should not be on the radio.
Fallout 4 is a nice game but I really do miss skills, I miss being able to see what affects my stats (why is my endurance below what it should be. Is it buffout withdrawal, poison, or something I'm wearing? Is it radiation poisoning?) and I miss the ambient music that was something that had me hooked on the original two games.
Here's the music for shady sands for example.

Here's the entire thing. Mute your ingame music and listen to this Some of it has been recycled into fallout 4. I'm glad going into vats mode still has that sound.

You mean like... how you can press a button on the status screen of the pipboy and it tells you what's affecting your stats?
Lol "I hate bethesda but I'm gonna play the shit out of their game anyway. It's not worth 60 dollars even if I get that many hours of play out of it"

You never played New Vegas then. or Dragon Age 2 or Superman 64 or Star Wars KOTOR 2 or Enter the Matrix or any number of buggy as shit games.
New Vegas is the buggiest game I have ever played in my life. It beats F4 by a freaking landslide.
I wrote a 10 page game analysis of it for an interview at a game company. Most of it focusing on the bugs.
I'm 50 hours in on 4 and I've run across a small handful of minor bugs. Nothing gamebreaking like I ran across in New Vegas EVERY single time I played. Fallout 4 feels polished as fuck compared to NV
But yeah.. welcome to Bethesda games.
But also yeah... try making a game of this scope and size without any bugs. I double dare you
I define "The buggiest game of my life" as a game that has no many severe bugs that it makes the game practically or completely unplayable. I don't know how many tries it took me to beat New Vegas. My game got corrupted so many times, or my character would get perma stuck somewhere.. or any number of weird as fuck, gamebreaking bugs. I had to start from scratch like 15 times
I have had exactly 0 gamebreaking bugs so far in Fallout 4. I've seen some weird character pathing issues, and valentine got stuck on repeat doing step-ups onto a table for like 20 minutes.. I wish I got video of it, was hilarious. A few bad textures... but that's about it. These are all very minor bugs. I haven't had any game crashes, corrupt saves and various other things that make me say FUCK YOU
This actually, feels to me... like the most polished Fallout game to date at release. Everyone loves Fallout 3 and that is one of the greatest games ever made for sure, but holy fuck it had some bugs. NV was even buggier... much.. much... much buggier. Also a fun game but holy shit the bugs.

I'm getting the impression that the console versions are buggier than the PC one...
Can't think of anything non-pretentious to say past that though

New Vegas and DA2 were so fucking glitchy on launch. It was both hilarious and exceedingly frustrating.

I'm still going with Skyrim for most hilarious bugs and glitches. Loved things like the verti-horses and the Motherfuckin' Giant Airline Company, kicking your ass from here to Vvardenfell no prob.
The only thing that does suck, is follower AI. Seriously Dogmeat, fuck you.

Speaking of moon monkeys, anybody else super fucking creeped out by those monkeys with the cymbals with the eyes that light up for various reasons? I have to shoot their heads off to keep from losing my shit.

Yes, those. Any info on what triggers them? I noticed one of them lights up when I kill people, one of them lights up when I come out of stealth, it doesn't seem consistent, and that adds to the creepiness.

Pretty sure it's movement within a certain range of it's view. Not entirely certain myself.

this.
It always seems to follow the exact same rules as an enemy detecting you. Movement and movement speed in its line of sight, with stealth stuff also coming into play. Sometimes I can stealth right by em if I'm behind em, other times I've moved a little to fast while stealthed and it lit the fuck up and scared the shit out of me since I didnt even know it was there.
lol@rpg turning horror jumpscare game.
However, it is VERY satisfying to melee its head off right after it make you jump out of your skin and shit yourself.

Either it was a coincidence, or the one time I just let it go, somehow an explosion happened without me having tripped anything or moved, can't remember if I died or not. So now I always decapitate them.

You can add mods to power helmets that increase stats as well.
