Slipknot, I found something really interesting when I reread your report.
"I was realizing the incredible potential of this drug. It was everything I had ever wanted from a drug. (snip) There was an incredible mental change in consciousness, but it wasn?t maddening or confusion or chaotic. It was simply amazing. Yet it was at times subtle. We all felt completely sober. It was the soberest we had ever felt in our life. I could think totally clearly, more clearly than usual."
I read your report when you first posted, and I knew I had to eventually try mescaline. Well I forgot all about your report, and then a few weeks ago I prepared San Pedro juice with another Shroomerite.
During the trip, I realized that mescaline was the experience I had been looking for since I became interested in psychadelics/spirituality. I had read trip reports and Native American tales of its effects, and it seemed interesting, but it was exactly, 100% perfectly what I had been searching for. The mental change was what struck me the most, and was the most enjoyable part of the experience. I had a clarity of thought I've never experienced before, ever. I kept saying how I felt more sober while taking mescaline than while actually being sober, and this state of mind was how I had always wished to be in my sober life. There was no confusion, no conflict or misgivings. I could examine difficult situations from my past, acknowledge the emotions that I attached to it, but the emotions had no effect on my thought process. I am definitely going to have to experiment more with it.
Have you had more trips with mescaline since this report? Did you notice if the higher the dose, the clearer the thought? I imagine it'd get to a point where that would stop... maybe...

Cool trip report. I've been sitting on a bunch of san pedro logs for several months now. Perhaps it's time to brew up some tea. I was planning on trying out ayahuasca this weekend though. Tough decisions.

Superb report!
I`ve got 120g dryed peruvian torch ready for the weekend for me and a friend, I think it`ll be enough wont it? could it be stretched to 3 people or would that be too mild?
I`m looking to have colourfull visuals, the last time i did it i did 30g and was at threshold, movement but no colour
Oh and importantly, you have said that you felt "High" for the whole next day and maybe the day after, did you have visuals then too?
When did the visuals wear off roughly?
Don`t want to have visuals at work heh
30 grams was threshold? I guess the mescaline content varies alot. For me 30 grams was an upper level 3. Be carefull.
Oh, and the after effects do not included visuals, except some really mild CEVs.
Ouch! Thats a big difference
Ok, with mine it had been sitting in my drawer, dryed and in a baggy which wasn`t completely airtight (lil holes) for roughly 3 months, it was crumbled into fine powder/dust too and to take it I just ate 30g of the powder and chased each mouthfull down with coke (drink, heh), empty stomach.
Would those circumstances have been the cause for such a huge difference in strength? I`m assuming you boiled yours for a few hours and drank the juice?
Its kinda important to know since I`m hoping tonight will be the night, going out in about 4hrs with any luck to my m8s place
Cheers.

Yea i did it once at the zerohero shroomery gathering, but it seemed a lot different. I think because the set/setting was totally different. It seemed most people were just trying to take as many drugs as possible at once and seemed like more of a party atmosphere than a spiritual trip atmosphere. We all stayed inside for the most part too, and i wanted to go wander around and have an adventure but nobody else did. Plus i was sick when i took it, so that affected my clarity/mind-state. So for the most part i just kept wandering around the house confused during that trip. I still had a blast though

Welp, 30g fresh cactus would be alot less than 30g dryed since it contains water too heh so my guess is Divided_Sky was talking about dryed
