you cannot make your case clear.
homesick and lovesick is not a disorder by ANYONE'S definition, so i don't know why you're making this about being "home" or "love" sick.
when you have low Serotonin or Dopamine, you will feel depressed in your emotions, you will have emotional liability, and you will generally feel low on energy. and this is a chemical thing that one cannot simply change with willpower; you can act... but you cannot REALLY BE of a "normal state" with low levels of these particular chemicals; and that's only the tip of the iceberg.
neurotransmitter's play a huge role in the communication of the brain and central nervous system, and they effect emotion and the brain's mental states. there is no arguing against these well stated medical presentation's. they've well documented and evidenced.
you will not understand. but you're entitled to your opinion.

I cannot make my case clear...? For godknows how long, on these boards, and in this thread I have made the case crystal clear, even presenting quotes from psychiatrists themselves admitting that the 'chemical imbalance' diagnosis is phony!
If a person does not understand after you have basically pushed his face into the evidence there is not much else one can do. There's only so many times and ways you can explain, and if the person still doesn't understand...? well like I say, sorry I cannot help you. That's that then. Hopefully others here who have looked at what I have said and presented have understood. I have lost patience with you

Specific drugs effect certain receptor sites the same way being "home sick" can, so where is the scam? Where is the part where you get fucked over by "them?" I still don't get where you're coming from

that's because he learned it all from books that pander to his frame of thought; instead of reading from opposing sides of the issue, as well, and getting a fully informed view of things. it's what happens to anyone when they stick to one side of an issue and never look across the fence.
sticking to sitting on a fence is NEVER good either, if you want to address the issue, but you have to hop it every once and awhile to see what's on the other side.
but then again sitting on a fence means you don't have to deal with it ^ it's certainly enticing, but ultimately a farce.

I wish people looked at the evidence AND THEN make an assumption of opinion about a matter based on the evidence instead of forming an assumption or opinion AND THEN looking at the evidence to support their already formed opinion.
This is basic investigating 101 but some people would rather believe their world view then let the evidence speak for it's self.

more appeal to authority, like usual.
Thomas Szasz is a known detractor of the collective data that many other smart cookies have developed.
so, you like his message? doesn't mean he's right. especially since you seem to misunderstand the entire debate.
this is about "what makes a mental disorder" and it's clear Szasz simply wants to "fight the beast" as he sees it because he feels wronged.
a mental disorder is a set of symptoms that people go to the doctor's for, the doctor's don't come to them. people go because they feel "not well". now just because the cause might not be chemical imbalance (which isn't shown because chemical neurotransmitters are known to cause immense effects on the mental states; just take any drug and you should realize that) doesn't mean that people are going to the doctor for "no reason".
kiddo.

Knock this "kiddo" bullshit off zzripz, the purpose of this forum is to attack each other's ideas, not condescend one another. Understood?

What's depressing to me is that martial law and economic collapse are literally at our doorstep in the form of a false flag event within a two month exercise involving the secret police mingling in the crowd and then removing dissidents to take them to the fema camps and turn them into soylent green.

Martial law and economic collapse being imminent is what paranoid people have been saying for years... ANDDDD it never happens.
Did someone betray you in your past? Is that why you're so paranoid?
