I was just about to search for this thread... then it got bumped up. Yay.
I hope this season is better than last one.
Nice cubes btw.
Would you guys actually be interested if I made some sort of video blog of me hunting? You all could add to it also. Hmmmmmmm

Hello again. Yes, I did find them on the high ground. The field was completely submerged in most areas. The yields should look better within the next few days.
A hunting video would be a cool addition to the thread.
I am very excited to see everyone's finds. Happy hunting!!

Thanks everyone! Went out in the field again around 1 p.m. Yesterday the field was flooded, and there wasn't many cubes. Today it was a lot more dry, and there was tons of cubes! 563 grams wet!

am also curious of this ^
btw, I'm excited to try my hand at find weilii this time around..
I've realized somewhere near me is almost a godsend in terms of habitat, i just feel I have to hit it lucky.
Also I've scouted out some fields that I feel may be fruitful. I just think it's been too cold at night still above atlanta so i might wait until like may or so~~

Amazing finds again!
My area was still extremely wet. A low yield once again, but I am still happy. They look much better this time.

Good find MidGa! I'm making it my goal to find weiliis. The little bastards have eluded me for the past 3 years!

Same county here! There's a spot that is about 5-10 minutes from me that is a rather large golf course and tbh it has already shown signs of promise for weilii. and I got some fields mapped out to the west of me by like 20-30 minutes. I thought about allatoona pass but it seems like it might be slightly wrong habitat until you lookin specifically for weilii / loblolly pine cause I never got an id on it but i'm pretty sure i found some weilii around allatoona 2 years ago. they were pretty deteriorated by then tho.
