GTA heists finally here, coming March 10th * 1

I had completely given up on them and figured they just were never gonna release them. Now I can get some more play out of it, haha. You know what though, I only spent $60 on that game and got a TON of gameplay out of it. Rockstar is better about gameplay value than a lot of companies and doesn't gouge for DLC though, I guess. It's just that promised that shit shortly after release, haha. Anyway, 3 days away if you're interested. I'm expecting server overloads the first day or three though

The heists that they promised for online since they released the game. You could do them in story mode. People have been talking shit about it for over a year

It's said the heists will take 2-3 hours to complete, so they must be pretty beefy.

I sold my copy of GTA V for ps3 because I figured they were never coming. I'm gonna try it out on PS4 and let you try it, if they're worth it, I'll definitely get a PS3 copy so we can fuck shit up

I wouldn't get a ps4 right now anyway, they are due to drop in price anytime now. Xbox has dropped in price and done so many bundles, once they have better games for it then I think the ps4 will drop in price.

Maybe its just for the PS4 version? It's probably not going to take effect right away, they probably are gonna do maintenance or work the kinks out because like you said there is gonna be lots of fuck ups probably

No, I know they do. But they're not cross platform, so they might be updating them on different platforms at different times is all I was saying. Not even a huge difference but maybe an hour or two. They do some funky ass shit sometimes. Who knows though. I wish they were cross platform.

You guys playing the heists yet?
I did the Fleeca Bank one and it was pretty lame, but that's just because it's practically like a informal tutorial.
So far I cannot get into the 1st setup mission for the Prison Break.
Actually I did for a few minutes but then some idiot on my team crashed their motorcycle and died right away. We couldn't restart the mission because someone quit and since you need all 4 players it just logs you out.

Yeah man, me and a few friends set up the Jail Break, now we just need to do the heist tonight.

I thought the first one was alright. Nothing super special, but got a little chunk of cash to buy some of the new clothing and masks and what not.

I liked the Jail Break set ups, though. Me and my friends played it tactically and had snipers at certain vantage points and had other designated positions. Made it pretty fun.

I haven't been playing it much for a while anyway and been busy with more important hobby stuff, haha. Might try to get a friend online tonight and try it out though. Was hoping people were gonna be like "OH MAN, THESE HEISTS ARE AWESOME", so kinda disappointed. Still sounds cool though. How much money you get from them?

I think you make like 150-250k on the bigger heist. I don't exactly know though because I have only done the intro heist and the set-up for our first big heist. I'm looking forward to playing tonight though, it seems really fun.

I finally played one. One dude kept dying, then the host quit, so I turned off the PS3. The prize was only $15k though, so that's gay. I am happy to have new missions in general though.

Haha, yeah. I'm only gonna do them with people on my friends list now, or people they can vouch for. Otherwise it's too easy to just waste your time when someone quits suddenly. They'll probably get it sorted out with fixes or updates sometime soon. Next time I play video games I'll probably play Tiger Woods 2014.

I beat the last heist the other night and it was pretty cool. Things get crazy. I can see how playing these with strangers would be difficult. Really need good communication on these things, especially if playing on hard.

I like how at the start of the mission when all 4 players are walking out of the apartment, everyone just runs and gets in their bright colored rocket ship cars and go charging off down the street in different directions crashing into street lamps and shit.

im on ps3 and a lot of the time i get "session lost" during heists. during two hours i was able to complete just one heist.

Me and some friends beat the criminal mastermind challenge recently for 10 million dollars. Your team has to beat all heists on hard, and no body dies once. We also did it on free aim, no auto-aim crap.  It was fucking INTENSE! Seriously, the  most stressful experience I've had gaming. Not the hardest, but definitely the most stressful.

Definitely requires a team that can communicate well. Communication is crucial.

Definitely. It's pretty important. We wanted to reduce risk as much as possible, like we were doing it in real life. So, we'd set up vantage points for snipers at each heist set-up and count down shots so we all take someone out at the same time.

Some missions seem impossible with out headsets because you have to execute the missions perfectly with stealth attacks, and if everyone is not on the same page, someone will do something and alert the guards and fuck everything up. Everyone needs to be on the same page.

It was all really fun and awesome though. I hope they release more heists with new challenges.
