Pins from completely dehydrated cakes

So a few months ago I had some cakes that suffered from a bacterial infection. They didnt pin after a couple weeks and reeked like holy hell. At that point I removed them from the FC and jist left them in a drawer. About a week ago I found them and they were completely dehydrated. I decided to soak them for 24 hrs to see what would happen (figured the bacteria would be dead at this point). This is from today. Ive had them in my nifty mini FC and theyre doing extremely well.

just thoight id shre with you guys, havent seen this before.

I cant believe that cake did that. It just shows how resilient cubes are.
