Go into a cattle pasture after it rains and walk until you find mushrooms that bruise blue and grow on dung.

directly after it rains or morning after? Research told me morning after but still found nothing
Anytime dude, you're over-thinking it.

my bortha! Directly after? Are you kidding. looks like you have a few posts none in maushrooms and their growness so dont be offended by the following
People tend to get frustrated when you ask questions like gainesville without so much as goolging it or searching the fourms. there are over 10 years of people finding musrhooms in your area search the forums and read the archives around the same date. Also dont expect to start searching in slow season and find anything without doing some research about mushrooms in general.. I think the mushrooms know your looknig for them and they will hide from you if they deem you unworthy. Get some knowledge and some mushroom respect and then you will have better success. This is a direct quote from ana del cont
WWeather CODditicml The weather affects the growth of fungi as much as the time of year. Suitable humidity and temperature are the main triggers to fruiting, but mushrOOIDB are also influenced by light and day-_. Prolonged drought is as much a disincentive to their growth as heavy rain. In spring and summer months, a spell of Warm. mild weather after a few days of penetrating, steady rain is the best time to start loOking. Mild, damp autumn and winter days should prove fruitful too. Frost and snow are enough to put a stop to most fungal. fruiting. but there are some species, such as Trumpet chanterelles, that sUrIVive in icy spells.
http://www.windfinder.com/weatherforecast/gainesville_airport is wat i use to determine stuffs basically you want to visit when the reltive humidity has been up there for a whil e 85 or more. Also go on a few non psychadelic mushroom hunts in safe no tresspaccing areas that way when its time to shine you will not be running around with a flash light in he middle f the night and get shot in the face with rock salt o r worse. sorry bouth spelling issues spilled coe a week ago and just cant do it any better
also dont be like me and have permission to be on a feild and still get youl balls zapped by an eectric fence
