Why would you want a lot of tiny mushrooms and one semi-big mushroom?
Let them all grow, genetics determine size, not how many mushrooms there are. You can get a cake with two mushrooms the size of a quarter or five hundred mushrooms taller then a coke can.
It's just genetics.

Get some more FAE in there though.
Got plans for some real cakes?
All this proves is that mycelium will fruit as a last ditch effort to preserve it's life cycle like any other organism . Blackdust runs the same "tests".
You guys should get to know each other better.

Why more FAE? Also, I'm trying to replicate this grow, but am having shit luck. My buddy keeps saying my stress/anxiety is to blame. I'm out of wbr, so I may as well go shopping after I get paid for classic pf tek stuff.

You have fuzzy feet. I'm on my phone in my girls car or I could elaborate more.
You have mycelium crawling up the base of your mushroom. This indicates youre not getting proper FAE because the mycelium is using some of its energy to escape the high co2 environment in your FC. High CO2 is balanced out by more FAE.
Replicate it and make it a tek.
Poor mans BRF

Oh? Good to know. I thought fuzzy feet were common and better for cloning? It was inspired by a tek, btw, check first post, it's the first link.

Nope,
Fuzzy feet is not indicative of special properties, just a not-so-great FC.

Pretty sure I'm just over-misting. Would cause the same effect, right? Going to score an amazon gift card get these. Fine verm is better, right?

Thats an environmental factor. and doesn't change what I said.

If your tubs are dialed in for really high RH and sacrificing FAE a touch in an effort to get a killer pinset, you need to dial that back. If you see pooling on the sub surface before the pinset is in you need to up that FAE more.
Another reason I like a casing, lets me run higher FAE without hurting primordia formation and there is no pooling water.

Oh? Reference link would be very much appreciated. Are you talking about the white stuff I didn't pick off that seems to have darkened up a bit? I was told to eat it, when it was fresh, but I was skeptical and just munched down the mushroom.

He is talking about the brown color on the stem.

Ah, I see. I thought it may be a random genetic, seeing as how one of the other caps was black, and one had the white stuff on the top.

Lol,
Who cares right? You got fruits I guess. If that's what you're aiming for you've reached the goal. I see vert all over as well but if you're happy then you're happy

That's not genetic. Look at the myc, it's even spiking up like it's aerial and a few of them are crawling up the whole base.
Pic 2 is def high CO2 and in pic 3 look at the farthest shroom with the dark cap, myc all over that stem.

As it turns out, all three mushrooms are growing from the cap of another mushroom, what do?
